Manduka
Upanishad 1:2:8: ~ “Remaining
in the fold of ignorance and thinking, “we are extremely wise and learned,” the
fools with boastful nature ramble about like the blind led by the blind alone.”
Manduka
Upanishad 3:2:3: ~ “The weak and timid cannot
realize the Self. Self-realization is not possible through intellect or hearing
the spiritual discourse. One who welcomes God in every activity, through a
thorough controlled, and disciplined life, to him also the Soul is revealed.
They are
enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the
greatest depths of misery when accepting the universe, which is the dualistic illusion
or Maya.
The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness
is the material cause of the universe.
Accepting
anything other than the Soul as the Self as truth is a great error. The Soul or
consciousness is all-pervading and it is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
But
those who believe the universe is reality are extremely foolish to accept the
dualistic illusion or Maya as a reality.
The Soul itself is God. Nothing exists without the Soul because
everything is created out of the Soul, God.
Sage Sankara 65.- As a
treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent
instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying
above it, and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called
out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and
its effects is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman,
followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted
arguments.
The seeker has to overcome all the obstacles in his pursuit of truth by a perfect
understanding of 'what is what'. Some so many scholars mastered philosophy,
but It is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana
through theoretical philosophy. Because their preaching is based on Spirit and
practices are based on the matter (you or waking entity).
Thus, the seeker of
truth has to realize the Advaitic truth without the scriptures and without
getting involved with the orthodoxy or any other teaching.
Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “Truly the dualism is the root of suffering. There is no other remedy
for it than the realization that all this that we see is unreal and that the
Soul, the Self, is the one stainless reality, consisting of consciousness”. 2:16
The sun, the moon, the stars, planets shine because of the Soul or
Spirit. The Soul shines and all things else shine as a result. Everything in
the universe reflects but that light of the Soul which is present in the form
of consciousness. Merely knowing the truth is not enough to escape from the
tangle of illusion.
The mind is in the form of the universe. From the standpoint of the
Soul the innermost Self, the universe is merely an illusion. The illusion arises
from ignorance. Enlightenment comes with detachment from the illusion by
realizing the experience of the form, time and space are one in essence.
Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The Self is pure awareness though through ignorance the ‘Self
has imagined itself to have additional attributes. By continually reflecting
like this, the Self’s dwelling place is in the unimagined. 2:17
Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “For the Self, there is neither bondage nor liberation. The
illusion has lost its basis and ceased. Truly all this exists in the Self,
though ultimately it does not even exist in the Self. 2:18
By
saying I know the truth; I know Brahman is not wisdom. The Truth is found only
in the unity of understanding which is the knowledge of both the matter and
spirit. That is the matter and the spirit, are one in essence. And that essence
is the Spirit, which is present in the form of the Soul or consciousness.
The Soul, the ‘Self’ is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. The
Soul, the Self is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness
pervades everything and everywhere in the universe because the universe is
nothing but consciousness.
The ‘Self is not this body the Self is the Supreme Soul. The universe
hides the Soul. The Soul itself is God. Nothing exists without the Soul
because everything is created out of the Soul, God.
You don’t recognize the ‘Self’ because you are blindfolded by the
dualistic illusion. The Soul, the Self is hidden by the dualistic illusion.
Those Gurus say you are formless; you are birthless without knowing the
Self is not you but the ‘Self' is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Those Gurus who assert the Self as you are still ignorant of the 'Self'
hidden by the dualistic illusion.
You are not the Self because you are bound by the birth, life, death,
and the world whereas the Soul, the Self is birthless and deathless, because, it
is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
If you think the Self is you then you are not a wise seeker you are ignorant because your existence is limited to the domain of form, time, and
space.
Guru says simply surrender to God without knowing what God is in actuality. There is nothing to surrender. The surrender implies
duality. The duality disappears when the Advaitic wisdom dawns.
Those Gurus say surrender to Guru belongs to religion and yoga is
not spirituality. religion and yoga have nothing to do with spirituality or Adyathma.
To realize the ‘Self' hidden by the dualistic illusion, you
have to realize the dualistic illusion is made of single clay. And that single
clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Knowledge
of the single clay is Self-knowledge o or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into the waking experience and
waking experience into mind and mind into consciousness by perfect understating
of ‘what is what’.
When you realize ’what is what’ you will realize everything is nothing
but consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than the Soul,
which is present in the form of consciousness.
When there is unity in
diversity in our understanding then there is stillness in the midst of
diversity.
The Soul, the Self is existence itself. The Soul, the Self is existence
without the illusory division of form, time, and space. The Soul, the Self is
the fullness of consciousness. The Soul, the Self is Advaita one without
the Second.
The Soul the Self is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. The Soul, the
Self is God in truth is Advaita.
