Chandogya Upanishad: ~ “Whoever sees the Self in all does not see death, disease, or diversity.+

Chandogya Upanishad: ~ “Whoever sees the Self in all does not see death, disease, or diversity.
Sage Goudapada’s rational exposition of Advaita:~ Whatever is seen, whether external or internal, whether by the ordinary persons or yogis, is unreal.
The moon reflecting on water and appearing as many, the self is just like the reflection of the moon on water, which increases with the volume of water and decreases with its reduction, which moves when the water moves, and which differs as the water differs. The moon seems to conform to the characteristics of water, but in reality, the moon never has these increasing or decreasing qualities. So also, from the highest point of view, consciousness always retains its sameness; it seems to conform to such characteristics as increase and decrease of the limiting adjunct, owing to its entry into such an adjunct as a universe.
Thread is drawn from cotton and is woven into cloth. But the reality of cotton is in both of these forms, viz., thread and cloth. Similarly, the projections of names and forms of this material universe on consciousness do not alter the nature of consciousness. It remains as it is without any change.
One can also illustrate the uniqueness of consciousness by analysing the phenomenon of dreams. The dream is a parallel waking state experience. And waking state is parallel dream .
The three states are an object to the subject, which is formless consciousness. Consciousness is the formless substance and witness of the three states.
One is unaware of the subject because he considers the waking entity as the Self and views and judges the three states, which is erroneous.
The waking entity is limited to the waking experience, and the dream entity is limited to the dream experience. In deep sleep, the waking or dream experiences are absent; thus, the Soul, the invisible witness, remains in its formless nondual true nature, but due to ignorance of the invisible Soul, the Self, which is the substance and witness of the three states, one experiences the three states as reality.
When one becomes aware of the formless witness of the three states, then one becomes aware that, the three states are merely an illusion from the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced within the waking experience is a falsehood.
The experience of the universe and birth, life, and death are myth. Thus, the religious Gods based on blind belief, heaven, hell, paradise, sin, karma, rebirth, and reincarnation is myth.
Thus, by worshiping a personal god and following a religion, studying scriptures is for those who are incapable of realizing the truth of their true existence.
Bhagavad Gita Krishna says: ~It is only one amongst thousands of people who strive for spiritual salvation. Even amongst such seekers, it is only the rare person who gets to know “Self” correctly.’ (7.3)
Existence is nondual. Nonduality cannot be described through words, for all uses of language fail to express it. Nonduality is sought to be indicated mentally negation of duality (all attributes and characteristics).
If people have believed false Gods propagated by religion over millions of years, the length of time does not prove it is God in truth.
Sage Sankara says:~ How can the talk of diversity, dvaita, apply to the Supreme Reality, which is one and homogeneous, Advaita? Who has ever observed diversity, dvaita, in the unmixed bliss of the state of profound sleep?
Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?" etc, because that is the right way to understand and assimilate.
The seeker has to grow from the inside out. None can teach him, none can make him spiritual. There is no other Guru but the Soul, the Self. :~Santthosh Kumaar
