Some Advaitin Gurus say they are Self-realized because they have destroyed the ego but, but they fail to realize without the ego the world in which they exist ceases to exist.++****

The one who says he is already Self-realized is ignorant. The person who says I am Self-realized is unaware of the fact that the Self is not he, because he and his experience of the world is a product of ignorance. Only ignorant says he is already enlightened.  Without the Advaitic wisdom, ignorance will not vanish.

 The one which says ‘I am Self-realized ’ itself is the ego. The one which feels it is he or she is also the ego.  The ego is the false Self (you or waking entity) within the false experience (waking).  

The ego, body and the world appear together and disappear together.   It is a foolish venture to try to destroy the ego because the ego is the very basis of the physical existence (universe in, which we exist).

So-called Advaitic teachings of  Gurus of the east or west are dualistic because they are egocentric. 

The ego is not the root of ignorance. The ego, body and the world are the product of ignorance.  

Without ignorance, the ego, body and the world cease to exist. Thus getting rid of ignorance is very much necessary. Only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the ignorance vanishes.

Remember:~ 

If there is no ego then there is no universe. It is impossible to get rid of the ego without  Advaitic wisdom.

The ego and the world in which you exist is created out of the same clay. That clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  The ego is the very basis of the world in which you exist.

 The ego is the root of physical existence.  The ego, body and the world appear together and disappear together.  

You are the ego. Without you the ego and the world in which you exist cease to exist.  Playing with words will please only sentimental mindset.   

Instead of wasting time to get rid of the ego, it is necessary to realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the consciousness to realize the world in which you exist is nothing but the consciousness.
