All these appearances are merely an illusion, which comes and go; hence meaningless to the formless Soul, the Self.

The creator and creation theory is based on the dualistic perspective. From the ultimate standpoint, the duality is not a reality. From the nondualistic perspective, there is neither creation nor creator because the duality is merely an illusion.
The cause and effect theory holds good only when one views and judges the worldview on the base of the false self (ego or you) as the real Self and the false experience (waking) as a reality.
When you learn to view the three states on the base of the Soul, which is the true Self then he becomes aware of the true fact t that there is nothing that exists other than the Soul, which is in the form of consciousness.
Consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in all three states. The nature of the three states is consciousness. In the absence, of the three states,   consciousness alone exists as formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
The people who believe God as a creator will not be able to cross beyond the barricade of experience of duality. They get stagnant in believing duality or physical existence (universe) as a reality.
The seeker has to realize first ‘what ‘self is? Then only it is possible to overcome this dualistic illusion (universe).
Without realizing the fact that, the Self is not you, it is impossible to realize the Advaitic truth which is hidden within the form, time, and space.
One who is stuck with his accumulated knowledge from here and there and accepts it as the ultimate truth is not receptive to receiving Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The Seeker has to verify every angle through soulcentric reasoning and accept the only uncontradicted truth. The spiritual truth cannot be contradicted. Religious truth is individual, not universal.
The idea of God as a creator holds good theoretically. This idea of God is introduced by organized religion and rulers in the past, to keep the populace in their control by conditioning the mass mindset, to be, to believe, to behave, and to live in the society by strictly following its ethics and code of conduct. But this idea of God becomes the biggest obstacle to the pursuit of truth because one is unable to cross the threshold of the dualistic illusion (universe).
When the dualistic illusion is accepted as a reality then the birth, life, death, and the world will prevail as a reality.
Thus, one thinks whatever he has seen, known, believed, and experienced as a person as a reality, without realizing the world in which he exists is merely an illusion.
In Self–awareness,  there is neither the creator nor the creation because the creator and creation are one, in essence.
The world, in which you exist, is created of single stuff. That stuff is consciousness. Therefore, the diversity within consciousness is merely an illusion. There is no second thing other than consciousness. Hence, it is nondual.
From the non-dualistic perspective, there is nothing that exists, nothing ever existed; nothing will ever exist other than consciousness.

From the nondualistic perspective:~

Where is the body, where is the mind, where is the world; the void; or despair in the true Self, which is the taintless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. They are or have become consciousness.

One thinks there is a mind when he has thoughts, but when thoughts are not considered different from consciousness, then where is the division into, waking, dream, and deep sleep, etc.

Void implies duality: the universe may not exist, but the thought of the second is there. If one knows there is a Void (emptiness/nothingness), then there is something there to be known and know. They are or have become consciousness.

What are the scriptures, what is Self-knowledge, what is the mind without the objects, what is contentment, and where is desirelessness for the formless Soul, the Self, which is ever devoid of the sense of duality?

What is knowledge? What is ignorance? What is the ego? What is duality? What is the mind? What is bondage? What is liberation? What is definiteness to the formless Soul, the Self, which is in the form of consciousness?

All these appearances are merely an illusion, which comes and goes; hence meaningless to the formless Soul, the Self.

The egocentric knowledge is not the ultimate knowledge because egocentric knowledge is dualistic knowledge based on the object (body) as the subject. But in non-dualistic Knowledge whatever seems to exist also is consciousness; therefore, there is no scope for the existence of the second thing.

What are the past karmas? What is liberation –in this life? And what is that liberation at death? for the birth- less Soul, which is ever formless.

The nearest state to understanding the Soul by itself is to mentally eliminate waking and dream as in deep sleep. Once this is grasped one must understand everything is consciousness.

What is the doer or the enjoyer? What is the cessation of thoughts or rising of thoughts? What are immediate perceptions and their results to, the invisible  Soul, which is ever impersonal?

A Gnani is never afraid of thinking and knowing all his individual experiences and the world to be consciousness.

What is the world and what is meant by the aspirant for liberation; what is contemplative and what is the man of knowledge; what the Self is and what liberated Self to the formless Soul, which is the non-dual essence.

When we analyze the dream experience, we find the dream entity, the dream world with all people in it appeared as a whole, and the dream reality lasted until the waking experience appeared.

When one tries to know the truth of his true existence in the waking through inquiry, analysis, and reasoning, one becomes aware of the fact that the Self is not physical but is a formless Soul, which is in the form of consciousness which is the essence of the three states from which the three states are made.

Thus, the illusions of the three states are made of one single substance, which is the Soul or consciousness.

By realizing the formless substance,  is consciousness,  ignorance vanishes and one becomes aware that the three states are merely an illusion from the standpoint of the formless substance, which is also the witness of the three states. :~ Santthosh Kumaar
