A Gnani possesses is his ability to express the Advaitic wisdom.+

No ordinary man can identify a Gnani without the knowledge of the ‘Self’ hidden by ignorance (I).

A Gnani possesses the ability to express Advaitic wisdom. After Self-realization, Gnanis are those who are in Self-awareness in the midst of the dualistic illusion (world).

A Gnani has no other awareness than Self-awareness, and for a Gnani everything has become consciousness.  In Self-awareness, the ‘Soul’ the ‘Self’ is God and remains as God!

A Gnani works for the upliftment of humanity from ignorance. A  Gnani is he who enjoys the worldly life, but simultaneously suffers the suffering of the world. Outwardly, he looks like an ordinary man; but inwardly, he cannot be understood.

Gnani has to share the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana for the betterment of humanity.

Sage  Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other

Only through deeper self-search beginners and intermediates gradually become aware ‘what is what’. Only after they have realized that the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness,  they are ready for the inner journey towards reality, which is beyond form, time, and space.

Upanishad:~ They alone in this world are endowed with the highest wisdom who are firm in their conviction of the sameness and birthlessness of Atman. The ordinary man does not understand their way(Chapter IV — Alatasanti Prakarana 95-P-188 in Upanishads by Nikilanada)

If you are seeking truth you have to realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

There is neither Guru nor disciple nor teaching because everything is the Soul, the ‘Self’ or consciousness.

That is why Sage Sankara said: The Soul, the ‘Self’ is Brahman—that is, the Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

A Gnani is not a yogi. Yoga is based on the body. Yoga will not yield Advaitic wisdom. People imagine a Gnani must be ever absorbed in thinking only of Brahman, hence wrapt in meditation or indifferent to what is going on around him is wrong.

Yogi is thinking only of Brahman (God in truth) and is unaware of the fact that the world in which he exists is also Brahman (God in truth).  Yogi ignores the world in which he exists and gives more importance to his chakras.

A Gnani sees only unity in diversity, just like a goldsmith estimating the gold in various items of jewelry sees only gold.

Thus, the Goldsmith everything is gold in jewelry. Same way Gnani knows the universe is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.

Sage Sankara V C (2), states that: ~ the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man." (Stanza 539).

It means the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man.  Thus the religious Gurus have nothing to do with the path of wisdom.

All the religious-based Advaita is meant for the masses that are incapable of grasping the truth beyond form, time, and space.

Thus, the religious idea of God, Guru, and scriptural studies have nothing to do with the path of wisdom or Brahman.

Mystics claim that they have enjoyed mystic exaltation, trances, meditations, and peace for many years. However, this state passed away because it is impermanent.

This proves he had attained a yogic condition, but not Gnana. It vanished because it was impermanent. The impermanent is based on the ego and whatever is based on the Soul is permanent and eternal.

The Gnani, however never loses his Gnana. Dislodging a Gnani from his conviction is an impossibility. Once he has realized the ultimate truth or Brahman he simply can't fall away from it.

yogis enjoy a mystic exaltation and peace, but whether it passes away soon or endures the whole of life, it is not Gnana, because it did not come through striving to investigate the nature of the external world, it came only through meditation on the Self; that is the yogic reward for such meditation but it is only one-half.

All such experiences are based on the ego (waking entity). Whatever is based on the ego is a falsehood.

The Gnani not only gets nondualistic awareness but also truth because he has turned outwards and grasped the truth about the matter (world), which is as much the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita: “Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth."

The discussion of the unimportant subject matter greatly hinders the path of wisdom. Personal attacks and provocation will not yield truth.

The path of truth is the path of verification. Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification. Agreeing to disagree causes unnecessary friction, everyone has a point of view and everyone must respect others' views and wisdom just to maintain harmony regardless of whether the point made was acceptable or not.

There are millions in search of truth but one in a million will be able to grasp it.  I am just posting what is revealed from the inner core. I just share with like-minded fellow seekers.

I am just highlighting the obstacle in the pursuit of truth. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is not based on any teaching or teacher.

The pursuit of truth is the pursuit of verification not the pursuit of an argument.   Intellectual discussion is a great hindrance to the pursuit of truth.

Sharing is giving info for the sake of goodness. As with all things, achieving a balance of peaceful communication is established with respect, humility, understanding, and patience. Balancing an achievement is harder.
Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. (II -23-P-20)
Thus, those who have taken the path of wisdom are chosen ones.  The chosen one will get the grace of the Soul, the inner Guru.

The path of wisdom is the Soulcentric path, whereas all other paths are egocentric. All egocentric paths lead to hallucination.

The Soul, the  'Self reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.

Sages of truth restrained themselves parting Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the mass and only a selected few. It was hidden from the ignorant populace which was not qualified and receptive to it.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few.

Thus, religion was given to the ignorant populace, and knowledge of the Spirit was given to only a selected few. Thus, we find traces of the knowledge of the spirit in the religious books in the form of parables.  :~Santthosh Kumaar
