First, know what God suppose to be in actuality then talk of reincarnation of God.+

You cannot see God from your physical eyes then why do you waste your time debating about your personal Gods and reincarnated Gods without knowing what God suppose to be in actuality.  First, know what God suppose to be in actuality then talk of reincarnation of God.

The Avatara and caste system are not Vedic in origin. The theory of Avatara (‘descend’) of God s which is very important to modern Hinduism is non-Vedic. The term Avatara (…) is not found in the earlier Vedic texts, and is absent from the older Sanskrit glossaries”

The Guru, Swami, Yogi, Sadhu, and Avatara belongs to religion, not spirituality. Religion and its ideas are nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman or God because they are based on the false self (ego), and false experience (waking).

The Path of wisdom is only for those who are seriously in search of ultimate truth or Brahman. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana is the knowledge of the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

God is not an individual but God is formless, timeless and spaceless Spirit. Therefore, it is erroneous to view and judge God on the individual standpoint point, because God exists prior to physical existence.  Therefore, it is necessary to view and judge the truth on the standpoint of the Spirit, which is God in truth.

Reincarnation is possible only within the dualistic illusion or Maya. Whatever belongs to the dualistic illusion or Maya is bound to be a falsehood.

Vedas bars human worship:~

Translation 3.

"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time."- (Yajur Veda 40:9.)

Than why worship and glorify the GURUS and YOGIS (human form)   in place of God when Veda bars such activities and  it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.

Remember:~

The influence of Sage Sankara’s wisdom is nothing to do with religious orthodox mindset.

Some philosophers in the past dissented from this interpretation of Vedanta philosophy, holding that the incarnated Souls were separate from the Divine Essence and only finally merged with it after the cycles of birth.  All these theoretical philosophies are based on the imagination based on the false self (ego or you) within the false experience (waking)

Likewise thinkers and poets of the Age of Devotion (Bhakti) of the 16th century believed in a God with attributes who became very tangible when incarnating as Avatar, and was attainable simply through love and devotion rather than scholastic and intellectual meditation.

For them the Bhagvad Gita became the main vehicle of inspiration with its qualified and deistic Monism, rather than the scholastic and esoteric path shown by Sage  Sankara.

The truth-seeker has to reject devotional paths if he wants to realize the truth beyond the form, time and space.   The path of Bhakti is for the ignorant populace.    The only path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the true nature of the Universal Essence, which is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Gnani and Illusion

A King who was greatly incensed at the wisdom taught by Gnani that everything here below is an illusion. He wanted to teach the exponent of this doctrine a lesson. So he invited the then Gnani to his palace. That Gnani went there and stoutly maintained that everything in this world is an illusion.

The king had arranged to let lose a hungry lion against Gnani. The beast rushed at Gnani who took to a precipitate flight to save himself.

'Oh, Venerable Sir,' shouted the king, 'why do you run so fast seeing that the lion is only an illusion?'

'Oh, king,' said Gnani in the course of his flight, 'my running too is an illusion. Everything in this world is an illusion.’

Similarly, whatever takes place in this world, in which you exist, is an illusion. The Avatar is a religious fable.  God is not an individual. Avatar belongs to the domain of the form, time and space whereas God is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

The world in which you exist is created out of God and God is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, everything is created out of God, thus all animate and inanimate things of the world nothing but God.  It is foolish to say only some human being as an Avatar the whole illusory creation is an Avatar of God.

Righteousness, peace, and love to divinity are necessary within the dualistic illusion. Righteousness, peace, and love for divinity are created out of consciousness. Without consciousness, there is no Righteousness, no peace, and no love. Realizing the consciousness as the ultimate truth is truth realization.

Righteousness, peace, and love to divinity are necessary in practical life within the practical world, but they are no ta qualification for truth-realization.

A Gnani vision of the world, in which he exists, is, beyond time and space, embracing the Soul, ultimate reality. The universe in which you exist is within the Soul.
The world in which you exist is not separate from the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness because the world in which you exist is created out of consciousness.
Remember:~
The Vedas confirms God is Atman (Spirit), the  Self.
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Vedas itself says: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshiper and the worshiped, whereas God is nondual. One can worship his idea of the God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as apart.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
When Upanishads and Vedas declare, “God is in the form of the Athma and God is indeed Athma itself” then why to accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman.
People, who worship the belief-based God, are hallucinating that they become one with such God.
The Soul, the ‘Self itself is the Infinite God.

The Soul is the Self. God is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. God is the fullness of the consciousness without the illusory division of form, time and space. Therefore, there is nothing apart from it.
God is Self-evident. God is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny God because God is the very essence of the one who denies it. God is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. God is within the universe in which you exist, the God is without the universe in which you exist.
God is the Supreme Being the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness and intelligence, which is beyond the form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.
Remember:~
Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by ignorance, they worship many God s. (7- Verse -20)
Advaitic wisdom meant only for those who are seriously in search of ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (Advaitic wisdom) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into truth and have no time for it. (Gita –Chap- IV-v.2)

In Gita Lord Krishna says: ~ "This yoga has been lost for ages" The word yoga refers to Gnana yoga, not other yogas: the force of the word this is to point this out. (Chap.IV)

Lord Krishna describes some of the other yogas but devotes this chapter separately to Gnana Yoga. So one sees even in those ancient days people did not care for Advaitic Gnana; they wanted religion; hence Gnana got lost. That is why Krishna calls it "the supreme secret."

Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana is the mother of all knowledge thus, it is not accumulated knowledge. The religion and yogic path have to be dropped if one is seeking ultimate truth or Brahman because they are based on the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion.

The seeker has to have humility, patience, sharpness to grasp, the ability to discriminate between the Real and the non-Real and an intense desire for liberation. However, it is important to remember that Advaitic wisdom is not a result of mere ritualistic practice. Ritualistic practices will not help to acquire Advaitic wisdom or Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
