Science is based on objects; its invention is based on an object as the subject. Thus, modern science can get the truth of the objectified subject.+

If you limit the Self to 'you' alone Self-realization is an impossibility, because, the Self pervades the whole universe.

Erwin Schrödinger, physicist: ~ Consciousness is never experienced in the plural, only in the singular. Not only has none of us ever experienced more than one consciousness, but there is also no trace of circumstantial evidence of this ever happening anywhere in the world. If I say that there cannot be more than one consciousness in the same mind, this seems a blunt tautology — we are quite unable to imagine the contrary...

‘WHO AM ‘I’?-  inquiry is good at the starting point of the pursuit of truth but in later stages, it created lots of confusion.

When the Self is genderless then it is not He/She. Therefore, using the word ‘I AM’ for the Self is erroneous.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the Self is not the ‘I’, therefore ‘WHO AM I? will not help to unfold the truth beyond form, time, and space.

Remember:~

People, who have not become firm in their power of reason, quote someone else as authority to support their reasoning because they have not got fullest confidence in their own powers.

When one is certain, he does not need any authority to support or confirm his own. There is no need for it.  To appeal to other views indicates pursuit is incomplete.

Scriptures and sages quote can be quoted after deeper verification, only to show they are also indicating the same thing or to show what is blocking their realization.

The practical life is not concerned with ultimate truth because the practical life within the practical world is based on the form whereas the ultimate truth is based on the formless Soul or consciousness.

Thus, conduct and action-oriented orthodox lifestyle is not the means to self-realization.  The seeker has to keep his intuitions and instincts at a distance and he has to stick to the facts derived from deeper self-search. Soul-centric inquiry, analyses, and reasoning means -  to go to the very end of things.

Sharpness to grasp the non-dual truth is necessary for the pursuit of truth. By merely hearing the truth mentioned by a Gnani one will grasp it.  The seeker has to constantly reflect on it too assimilate and realize it.

The seeker has to analyze the three states, and he has to think consistently about it. Exercise his thinking faculty and inquire continually; discrimination is essential; this practice is the only way to understand, assimilate, and realize the non-dual truth.

Most people have a complex "I know". Unless one gives up the “I know” business he can’t get rid of the ideas "which are full of contradictions" to the truth seeker. But those who do not want the truth do not see the contradictions and are satisfied with their accepted truth are intellectuals who want to keep satisfying their own ego.

Modern science is based on physical facts, whereas the truth is based on facts of true existence. The pursuit of starts with the physical facts, but carries its inquiry deeper.

The seeker has to go more deeply into investigating his own existence facts he becomes a Gnani, automatically, merely by deeper reflection. Mind (universe) merges into the Soul(consciousness)ultimately and there is no other way for it.

Many people quote non-duality without understanding it really in its highest aspect. One who calls himself a Gnani, but he thinks his command over the knowledge of philosophy, religion, yoga, scriptures, and quoting citation of the sages by heart, he thinks he is a Gnani.  He does not know whether what scripture says is true or not, because he blindly accepts scriptures without verifying their validity and he quotes  Advaitic wisdom.  Advaitic wisdom arises only when one indulges in deeper self-search independently without the support of scriptures.

There are conflicting teachings in the religious or orthodox path and one gets confused as to which are true. People are not capable of knowing, which path is the true path because they do not know the proper test of truth.

Remember:~

All scientific inventions are based on the dualistic perspective whereas the ultimate truth of existence is based on the nondualistic perspective.

Scientific inventions are limited to the domain of form, time, and space whereas the truth is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

When the scientists and the world in which they exist and their inventions are created out of single stuff. And that single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaita.

Thus Advaita is the rational truth, scientific truth, the ultimate truth, and universal truth cannot be contradicted. The Advaitic truth was declared by the Sage Scientist   Sankara 1200 years ago.

One day the scientist also will confirm and declare that the universe is nothing but consciousness. Science cuts itself from the witness (Soul or Spirit) and remains aloof from the witnessed (universe or matter).

The scientist not only stands aside, outside the field of the witness. It is because the scientist is unaware of the witness, is apart from the witnessed, and he and his invention are part of the witnessed.

Science cannot cross the threshold of physical existence (universe or waking). Thus, its invention is limited to physicality.

Science is based on objects; its invention is based on an object as the subject. Thus, modern science can get the truth of the objectified subject.

Elimination of the object mentally and realizing the subject then judging the worldview on the base of the pure subject leads to the discovery of ultimate truth.

The feelings impressions and notions are based on the physical self (ego). Scientific inventions are based on the physical self(ego).

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the waking entity (ego) is a false self within the false experience (waking). : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
