Silence is the nondual nature of the Soul. The real silence is nondual. The real silence is hidden by the illusory universe or Maya.+

Silence is the nondual nature of the Soul. The real silence is nondual. The real silence is hidden by the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Advaitic wisdom does not come just by sitting quietly, observing silence, meditating, indulging in repeating mantras, reading books, hearing sermons, meeting Gurus or yogis, and by doing pranayama,  Advaitic wisdom dawns only when you realize that the ‘Self’ is not you, but the ‘Self’ is the invisible  Soul.
People think by observing silence within the duality they pretend to show they are in Brahmic bliss. They fail to realize that, the truth is not an individual experience but it is the basis of all that exists in the form of dualistic illusion.
The silence is the nature of the Soul, the  Self. The dualistic silence is keeping mum without speaking. Keeping mum within the dualistic illusion is trying to imitate the formless Soul, the  Self. The non-dualistic silence is possible only when the Soul, the Self, remains in its own nondual awareness without illusory illusory form, time, and space.
Deep sleep is the state of thoughtlessness, silence, wordlessness, and silence but it is not considered as a state of oneness because anyone can take a sleeping pill and will be able to get a state of oneness.

Thus, trying to imitate the state of oneness in duality by observing silence, thoughtlessness, and wordlessness or by yogic Samadhi or surrendering to the physical Guru, the Advaitic wisdom will not dawn. Without the Advaitic wisdom, ignorance will not vanish. Thus, eliminating ignorance through wisdom is the only way to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
