People all over the world in the past and present
accepted the idea of the existence of God.
The fear of God injected by the religion was the root cause of
worship, superstitions, and dogmas.
The
religious belief is passed on to the populace from one generation to the next
generation.
Only through Advaitic wisdom, it is possible to realize the God in truth hidden by the veil of ignorance.
Ignorant people take their religious God based on a blind belief for granted without realizing what God in
actuality.
God we do not see is real. God in truth is hidden by the illusory world in which we exist. The world in which we exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness, which is God in truth.
In reality, the world in which we exist does not really exist; and what
does not exist for us, really exists.
By worshipping God in human form, repeating mantras
is like watering a barren soil. The
seeker of truth should not waste life in empty formalities.
Without realizing
the world in which he exists is mere an illusion it is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge
or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Religions are based on blind belief, not the truth. Religions are
more concerned with its beliefs dogmas and superstitions.
Religious Gods are based on
imaginary beliefs. The beliefs are not the truth. The belief is part of the
dualistic illusion. The Atman is Brahman
or God in actuality. Other than the Atman God all else is an
illusion. Whatever is based on the
belief is a myth.
Remember:~
Yajur Veda – chapter- 32:~ ‘God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’
(idol) or material shape. God cannot be
seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the
Vedas.
Some Saints recommended repeating God’s name as
a spiritual practice but what is the use of such practice without knowing ‘what
God is in actuality. Such practices
based on religious God. The God in
truth is without the form, without the time and without space, and without the
name. Religious Gods are not God in truth.
If you repeat the name of nameless God
you will remain in the prison of ignorance. Thus, it is necessary to realize
‘what God supposed to be in actuality. All religious propagated prescription keeps
one in the prison of ignorance.
The Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness,
which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading the consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~
“Those who know me in truth.". The
last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all
the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.
The Vedas confirm God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.
The mantra-yoga consisting of repeating the
name of God, or even the AUM; thousands of times yield nothing. It can appeal
only to the ignorant, to those who cannot think deeper. It is a mere religious
fable. The real exercise is to think of the meaning of the name or the AUM and
then only do you get something.
That is why Sage Sankara: ~ ‘VC-63- Without causing the objective
universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to
achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result
merely in an effort of speech.
The religion preaches
that Gods have forms of and attributes and the
ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma
and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.
Bhagavad Gita:~ All those
whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods.
(7- Verse -20)
Humanity has to awaken to the reality of its true existence by
realizing the world in which humanity exists is merely an illusion created
out of the consciousness through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The Brihadaranyaka
Upanishad declares: "He who worships the
deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the
Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana frees the Soul, the Self from the cage of the dualistic illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
