Only when the conviction about the Soul as the 'Self' becomes firm in the subconscious then only the inner dialogue start and the subconscious will start negating the truth.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’.
It takes time for the Soul, the Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one to realize the truth, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya or 'I'.
The nature of the Soul, the Spirit is like a state of sleep. But the sleep is unconsciousness of the objects whereas Self-awareness is a conscious awareness of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness in the midst of the object.
The reason, in respect of the ultimate reality, is like the impossible conception of a sleeping man trying to know what he is about, without waking up. As sleep is to waking, so is ordinary life to the state of realization.
The seeker should be aware of everything untrue: stick to the truth and he shall succeed, maybe slowly, but surely.
If the seeker impatiently waits for something to happen it will never happen.
Suppose one plants a flower seed, if he goes on digging every day to see the progress of the seed becoming the plant he is not allowing the seed to sprout. In the same way, the inner work is on. when the subconscious becomes firm in its conviction of the Soul, the Advaitic awareness rises on its own.
Remember:~
You are not you but the consciousness; your body is not the body but consciousness, the world in which you exist is not the world but consciousness.
Everything that is known, seen, believed, and experienced by you is nothing but consciousness then what else remains, which is not consciousness.
There is nothing else to realize other than to realize that consciousness alone is, everything else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
By realizing everything is consciousness, the Advaitic wisdom dawns. Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ leads to Advaitic awareness.
It is not you have to establish in consciousness but by realizing you and your experience of the world is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness, Self-awareness arises in the midst of the dualistic illusion.
Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness.
If everything is consciousness then how can anything exist which is not consciousness?
When the conviction about consciousness becomes firm then everything falls into the right slot.
When you realize the words, thoughts, and world in which you exist are created out of single stuff and that single stuff is consciousness, then you will realize the truth which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.
When everything is created out of consciousness then there is no second thing that exists, other than consciousness. It takes time to grasp the Advaitic truth. All the obstacles have to be overcome one by one.
All fortune gained or lost within the world is within the illusion because the world in which we exist is merely an illusion. You are the false self within the false experience.
Whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced within this illusory world is bound to be an illusion.
To realize this world is an illusion, you must realize the ‘Self’ is not you, but the ‘Self’ is the unborn Soul.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the world in which we exist is merely an illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
