When Jesus came to his village he
was very surprised - the people of the village didn't bother with him at all.
Jesus has said a prophet is never respected in his own country. What is the
reason? Why won't the village respect its prophet? The village people have seen
him as the son of the carpenter Joseph, saw him carrying wood, saw him planing
wood, saw him sawing wood, saw him bathed in sweat, saw him playing and
fighting in the streets. The people of the village have known him since
childhood, have seen him there as a seed. How is it possible that he suddenly
becomes the son of God! No, those who saw the seed cannot accept the flower.
They say there must be some fraud, some cheating; this man is a hypocrite.
Remember:~
A Gnani is not recognized by the
people because he does not identify himself with religion nor he wears a
religious robe.
Manduka Upanishads: - It is not
possible to recognize who is a Gnani because he bears no external mark. Neither
nudity nor the yellow robe has anything to do with him.
Sage Sankara Gnan wears no
signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor
his behavior." When the knower of Brahman wears no signs -- it means he
does not identify himself as a Guru or a teacher.
Sage Sankara says:~ A
Gnani~ “Sometimes he appears to be a fool, sometimes a wise man. Sometimes he
seems splendid as a king, sometimes feeble-minded. Sometimes he is calm and
silent. Sometimes he draws men to him. Sometimes people honor him greatly,
sometimes they insult him. Sometimes they ignore him.
A Gnani never identifies himself
as a swami, Guru, pundit or yogi. People see god only through their
religious spectacle. They fail to recognize the truth hidden by their religion.
One needs
Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara to realize the conscious awareness of consciousness in the midst of the waking state.
The
wisdom will not dawn without Advaitic wisdom. No one
gets it from his seeking or asking. You may be ready even to give up your very
life for it, but with all this, you cannot claim grace. How can you demand
grace? The very desire to possess grace is a barrier to receiving it. It is an
act of unbounded spontaneity.
However, in a sense, you cannot love me without
my grace and as such all of the “experiences” you have are nothing but a game
of my grace.
But grace as grace is quite different. It is not
received in parts. It is infinitely indivisible and so indescribable. It is the
whim of the fully conscious Infinite to make the apparently finite realize its
Infinity. On the part of the finite, it can be likened to a drop gulping the
Ocean!
Remember:~
Sage Sankara On Gnani:
~ "The
knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his
signs are not manifest, nor his behavior."
Sage Sankara: ~ The Knower of the Atman or the knower of Brahman or Brahma Gnani.
When the knower of Brahman
(Gnani) wears no signs it means he does not identify himself as Guru or yogi or
teacher or Swami, because a Gnani sees
the form, the time and space are one in essence. Thus, there is unity in
diversity in his realization.
Sage Sankara says the knower of Brahman wears no signs.
Gives up the insignia of a monk's life then it is of no use to renounce the worldly life, and become and sanyasi or monk or Sadhu to acquire
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Brahma Gnana.
The seeker of truth need
not renounce the worldly life run to the mountains or run behind the Gurus or
Yogis waste their precious life and fortune to get
Self-knowledge. If the seeker has an
intense urge to realize the truth, then that very urge leads to realizing the
ultimate truth or Brahman.
What is the use of renouncing anything within
the dualistic illusion? By giving up
anything the ignorance will not vanish.
By hearing ornamental words from some
guru wisdom will not dawn. Sticking to
some Guru trying to get self-realization is trying to drain the sea drop by
drop.
The path of wisdom is the inner path. The
inner path is a mental path. Without
stepping out of the boundary of the form, time and space, it is impossible to
assimilate Advaitic truth. The Advaitic truth is ultimate truth or Brahman or
God in truth.
This Path of wisdom is Soulcentric, therefore, it is
very difficult to tread this path on egocentric perspective. Even the yogis and
saints have not come to understand the state of the Soul, the ‘Self’.
Ignorance is the cause of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is
present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the
universe.
The universe appears as waking or the dream (duality) and disappears
as deep sleep (nonduality).
Man and his experience of the world is the result
of ignorance. Man and his experience
of the world cease to exist as a reality in the realm of the Soul, the ‘Self’.
Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The world in which you exist is created out
of consciousness.
When this truth is revealed from the inner core than the
Advaitic wisdom will dawn. When wisdom dawns then the Soul, the ‘Self’, remains
in its own awareness in the midst of the diversity. :~ Santthosh Kumaar
