In the 'Taittariya Upanishad' II.1:~ Brahman is described in the following manner: "Satyam jnanam anantam
brahma",
"Brahman is of the nature of truth, knowledge, and
infinity." Infinite positive qualities and states have their existence
secured solely by virtue of Brahman's very reality. Brahman is a necessary
reality, eternal (i.e., beyond the purview of temporality), fully independent,
non-contingent, and the source and ground of all things. Brahman is immanently present in the realm of materiality, interpenetrating the whole of
reality as the sustaining essence that gives it structure, meaning, and
existential being, yet Brahman is simultaneously the transcendent origin of all
things (thus, panentheistic).
The essential identity
of the Atman and Brahman (God in truth) is
the most important Advaitic declaration.
The Atman or the Soul, is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. Consciousness is the hidden substratum of
the whole universe in which we exist.
The Soul is the real Self,
which is present in the form of consciousness. The universe in which we
exist is the same, and identical to consciousness because the universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
The illusion is nothing but consciousness.
Thus, consciousness alone is real and all else is merely an illusion. Whatever prevails without the illusion is
real and eternal.
Religious paths and
yogic paths have nothing to do with ultimate truth or Brahman. The scriptures have
nothing to do with ultimate truth or Brahman. Gurus, swamis, and yogis have
nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. The experience of birth, life, death, and the
world have nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. Individual God has nothing to do with ultimate
truth or Brahman. Karma or Action has nothing to do with the ultimate truth of Brahman.
Creation and creator have nothing to do with ultimate truth or Brahman because
the Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is a formless, timeless, and
spaceless existence.
Brahman means the ultimate truth. The one who has realized the
ultimate truth or Brahman is Brahma Gnani. Advaitic or nondualistic truth is the rational truth, scientific truth, and ultimate truth. ~ Santthosh Kumaar
