Fortunate is the seeker who does not follow any Guru or their teaching but acquires Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sri, Sankara by pure reason.+

The intricate maze of the philosophy of different schools claims to clarify matters and reveal the truth, but in fact, they create more confusion where no confusion needs to exist.

To understand anything, there is a need for perfect understanding and assimilation of the truth. Why worry about the physical body, ego, logic creation, creator, saints, sages, and the world, which are part and parcel of the illusion.

People, who yearn for spiritual or Brahmic truth will not find it through intellectualism? Intellectual truth is an individual truth. All conceptual divisions were invented by philosophers by their excessive analysis.

Fortunate is the seeker who does not follow any Guru or their teaching but acquires the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara by using pure reason.

Assuming or speculating and coming to a logical conclusion on the base of the physical self (waking entity or ego), is intellectual. Therefore, intellectually is egocentric. Egocentricity is the greatest obstacle in grasping the non-dualistic truth.

There is no need to study the philosophies of Berkeley, Kant, Hume, and other Western and Eastern philosophers; they are not the means to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. They are in fact an obstacle in the pursuit of truth because they are based on the physical self(waking entity or ego). There is no necessity to study the philosophy of any great thinkers to ensure firm realization.
There is no need for any philosophy to verify the truth of the Self. All that is intellectual wealth, is useful in explaining doubts and difficulties if others raise them if he himself encounters them in the course of thinking. But to attain realization, all that is not necessary. One wants fresh water to drink, but he does not require all the water of the whole lake to quench his quest.

Philosophical Authoritarianism merely assumes as true what another says, but what has yet to be proved. Lots of pundits will teach “Who am ‘I’”? but none have deeply analyzed it scientifically, None can prove it.

Rational proof is needed in pursuit of truth so that one can arrive at knowing truth i.e. Wisdom; theirs is mere dogma, parrotism, a repetition of what they read in scripture.

The philosophical argument leads nowhere. If the philosopher says, “Self” is formless “another will reply, "No, the 'Self' has a form! If one says "his adopted philosophy has a higher value than all other philosophy” another will say, "No, that is lower and there are many philosophies higher than that." It is impossible to get anywhere with such talk because both sides are merely assuming and imagining.

the wisdom will not dawn just by holding some philosophical declaration as truth, the truth has to be proved, not assumed. People who take philosophies for granted are mere scholars who have mastered philosophy without verifying the validity and parroting their philosophical knowledge, not the truth. People think philosophical mastery is wisdom, but it is a mere play of words. Philosophical knowledge is not a means of non-dualistic wisdom.

Remember:~

The seeker has to mentally grasp the true “Self “or “consciousness” which is beyond the reach of words and thought, and it is the formless substance and witness of all the three states.

The means to the attainment of Self-knowledge is discrimination between things permanent (real or nonduality) and impermanent (unreal or duality), and the urge for spiritual freedom.

What is the use of studying philosophy?

What is the use of worshiping Gods and Gurus?

What is the use of and performing religious rituals?

What is the use of observing silence?

What is the use of singing devotional hymns?

Advaitic Wisdom will not dawn, without realizing the world in which you exist is created out of single clay. That single clay is the consciousness. The knowledge of the single clay leads to Oneness. Oneness means unity in diversity.

That is why Sage  Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but the liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
There is no need to study philosophy.    There is no need for worshiping Gods and Gurus.
There is no need for and performing religious rituals. There is no need to observe silence. There is no need to sing devotional hymns. In order to get Self-realization.
Remember:~
Tripura Rahasya: ~ Second-hand knowledge of the Self-gathered from books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward. (18: 89)
By observing nature you will not find the truth you are seeking but by realizing the unreal nature of the universe the truth you are seeking will be revealed on its own.

Chandogya Upanishads: ~ This universe comes forth from Brahman and will return to Brahman. Verily, all is Brahman. A person is what his deep desire is. It is our deepest desire in this life that shapes the life to come. So let us direct our deepest desires to realize the Self.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the innermost Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus know the ‘Self’ to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

Sage Sankara said: ~A.A~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?

The ‘Self’ is not the mind. The mind is present in the form of not the world in which we exist.  The world appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality).

The ‘Self’ is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in all three states. Thus, diversity is created out of single stuff. That stuff is consciousness.

Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman because there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.   From the standpoint of the Soul, the form, time, and space are one, in essence.

In spirituality, God means the ultimate truth or Brahman. Self–realization is Truth-realization. Truth-realization is God-realization.

Sage Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

That is why Sage Sankara says: ~ Brahman is the truth The World is Unreal everything is Truly Brahman and nothing else has any value.

If you are seeking the truth then do not waste time finding a Guru and becoming his slave.  The Gurudom belongs to the religious and yogic path and it has nothing to do with the Advaitic path.

Upanishads:~  Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)

There is no need for a Guru, to know you and your Guru and the world in which you exist are created out of single clay and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
Knowledge of that single stuff is the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person.
There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything but perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ leads to realizing the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The Soul the ’Self’ reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Sage Sankara says: ~ There is no need to study the Scriptures, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~ then why indulge in studying the scriptures.
Sage Sankara says: ~ There is no need to study philosophy, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why indulge in studying philosophy.
Sage Sankara says: ~ There is no need to indulge in rituals, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why indulge in rituals.
Sage Sankara says: ~ There is no need to indulge in yoga, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why indulge in yoga.
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)
~ then why stick to a Guru who is not a Gnani.
Sage Sankara says ~ The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation.
~then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.
Those who tell you that Brahman is unity, that you can get it only by intuition, that you should not reason, you should not question or inquire, are deluding you. Verification must come by thought. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Critics who says Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom as negative do not know that this is applied only to the Seen, the critic ignorantly believes that it is also applied to the Seer.+

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara reveals both the real and the unreal nature of existence.

The universe is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but it is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego and, therefore, experiences birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing exists other than the Soul or consciousness.

Thus, all the egocentric knowledge has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

The world in which we exist is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The whole universe is nothing but the Soul. Therefore, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

It is not as if something that was not consciousness suddenly becomes consciousness. Rather, "knowing the truth” means a removal of the ignorance about one's own existence as the consciousness. Thus, to "know the truth” is to "be the consciousness."

Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist.   The consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is impossible to deny consciousness because it is the essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Remember:~
Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
Sage  Sankara himself had often said that his philosophy was based on Sruti, or revealed scripture. This may be because Sage  Sankara addressed the ordinary man, who finds security in the idea of causality and thus in the idea of God—and Revelation is indispensable to prove the latter. He believed that those of superior intelligence, have no need for this idea of divine causality, and can, therefore, dispense with Sruti and arrive at the truth of Non-Dualism by pure reason.
Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman is Nirguna (without the Gunas), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without attributes) and Akarta (non-agent). He is above all needs and desires.
Sage Sankara says:~ "This Atman is self-evident. This Atman or Self is not established by proofs of the existence of the Self. It is impossible to deny this Atman, for it is the essence of he who denies it. Atman is the basis of all kinds of knowledge. The Self is within, the Self is without, the Self is before and the Self is behind. The Self is on the right hand, the Self is on the left, the Self is above and the Self is below".
Satyam-Jnanam-Anantam-, are not separate attributes. They form the very essence of Brahman. Brahman cannot be described because the description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than He.
The objective world of names and forms has no independent existence. The Atman alone has a real existence. The world is only phenomenal.
Sage Sankara was the exponent of Advaita wisdom. Sage  Sankara's Advaitic wisdom can be summed up in the following words:~
Brahma Satyam Jagat Mithya,
Jeevo Brahmaiva Na Aparah
Brahman alone is real, this world is unreal; the Jiva is identical with Brahman.
Nearly all orthodox hold views of Maya which are entirely incorrect and untenable. They do not know Sage Sankara's Upanishad Bashyas, but only the Brahma Sutra Bashya.
Sage Sankara varied his practical advice and doctrinal teaching according to the people he was amongst. He never told them to give up their particular religion or beliefs or metaphysics completely; he only told them to give up the worst features of abuse: at the same time, he showed just one step forward toward the truth.
In Brahma Sutras, Sage Sankara says that Brahman is the cause of the world, whereas in Manduka he denies it. This is because he says that at the lower stage of understanding, the former teaching must be given, for people will get frightened as they cannot understand how the world can be without a cause, but to those in a higher stage, the truth of non-causality can be revealed.
Brahma Sutras, i.e. "Vedanta Sutras" by Badarayana, are intended for those of middling intellects, not for those who have the best brains: it is a semi-theological, semi-philosophical work; it starts with the assumption that Brahman exists.
The opening sentence is "All this is Brahman." But nobody knows or has seen Brahman.
If one says "All this is gold" and shows a piece of gold, the words are understandable. Suppose one has never seen gold. Then what is the use of it becomes meaningless when the object indicated is seen by none?
Hence, the Brahma Sutra opening is equivalent to "All this is Brahman". Both have no meaning so long as they are not understood if we take them as the data to start from. For this reason, the Brahma Sutra is intended for theological mindsets because it begins with dogma although its reasoning is close. For it starts with something imagined.
Critics who say Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is negative do not know that this is applied only to the Seen, the critic ignorantly believes that it is also applied to the Seer. Never negate the Seer, only the Seen. because the Seer is reality and the Seen is an illusion. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara was criticized for his views on Maya (illusion) without understanding him.+

Swami Vivekananda: ~ “Advaita encompasses everything. Since Advaita requires heavy-duty intellectualism, it had to be progressively simplified.

Spirituality has to be bifurcated from religion and mysticism to get the scientific essence of spirituality. The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is scientific spirituality.

Sage Sankara alone is a Sage scientist humanity has to bow with gratitude to the great Sage.

Sage Sankara was criticized for his views on Maya (illusion) without understanding him.

Sage Sankara said: ~

(1) Brahman (Atman) is real
(2) The universe is unreal,
 (3) Brahman is the universe.
He did not stop at the second because the third explains the other two. It signifies that the universe is real if perceived as the ‘Self’ and unreal if perceived as apart from the Self. Hence, Maya or illusion and reality are one and the same.
The realists criticize the concept of illusion without understanding it.

Sage Sankara said:~
(1) Consciousness (Atman) is real
(2) The universe or mind is unreal
(3) Consciousness is the universe because the universe is an illusion created out of consciousness.

One need not stop at the second because the third explains the other two. It signifies that the universe is real if perceived as the Self (Atman or consciousness) and unreal if perceived as apart from the Self (consciousness). Hence, illusion and reality are one and the same because both are one in essence. Realizing the essence, which is consciousness, is Self-Realization or Truth-Realization of God- realization.

Thus, Sage Sankara‘s declaration is the rational truth, scientific truth, and also ultimate truth,

Sage Sankara says: ~ “V.63 ~ "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self (Spirit) and the not-self (Matter).

Sage Sankara says ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real (Spirit) and unreal (Matter) and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.

Sage Sankara believed that those of superior intelligence, have no need of this idea of divine causality, and can, therefore, dispense with Sruti and arrive at the truth of Non-Dualism by pure reason.

Sage Sankara: ~ “The objective world-the world of names and forms has no independent existence. The Atman alone has a real existence. The world is only phenomenal.

Sage  Sankara was the exponent of Advaitic wisdom. His wisdom can be summed up in the following words:~

~ Brahman (Spirit) alone is real; this world (matter) is unreal. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Brahman is totally different from the religious idea of Brahma with four faces.+

Brahman is totally different from the religious idea of Brahma with four faces.  Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness.

The religious Brahma is  personal God whereas Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal and Akarta (non-agent). God is above all needs and desires. God is always the Witnessing Subject. God can never become an object as God is beyond the reach of the senses. God is non-dual, one without a second. God has no other beside it. God is destitute of difference, either external or internal. God cannot be described because the description implies a distinction. God cannot be distinguished from any other than God. In God, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constituted the very essence or Svarupa of God, and not just God's attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

It is established that the Soul is without any connection with birth, life, death,, and the world because it is the ever formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

The word Brahman means ultimate truth or reality which cannot be indicated by any word. The Brahman can be expressed through silence because it is beyond the experience form, time and space.  Therefore, the word Brahma in the clearly stands for the essence of the three states, which is the consciousness only. The final stage pursuit of truth is to know that the ‘Self’ is the consciousness.

BRAHMAN -The English use of the word real as applied to the material world, whereas Indian Sages of truth use it as applied to unseen Brahman. Hence many errors have arisen in translations from the Sanskrit.

BRAHMAN- The word Brahman or Sat has no proper equivalent in English. The nearest is the ultimate reality or ultimate truth. The west, however, applies reality to individual objects or to the multiplicity of them all: whereas Advaitins apply it to the non-duality. Brahman is called "That" because it is something not known yet by the seeker.

Remember:~

The Soul the shining One. The Soul is not similar in its nature like the individual, who is bound by the form, time, and space. The Soul is beyond the form, time, and space. The Soul is not different from the world because the world is created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The religious idea of Brahma with four faces and Brahman should never be confused. Brahman is totally different from the religious idea of Brahma with four faces. If you want to understand Brahman, go directly and immediately ~ not via Hinduism; then you will never understand Brahman.

God cannot be religious because God is universal. God is so vast that no religion can own God because God pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states.

Only religion can be organized not God in truth. Religion is limited to the domain of the form, time, and space whereas God in truth is unlimited because God in truth is a formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

The vastness of God in truth is such that the moment you realize ‘what God in truth is you and your world become merely an illusion.

You cannot see God in truth from your physical eyes because God in truth exists prior to whatever exists as the form, time, and space.

Whatsoever you have been hearing about God is not about the real God; it is about the God that religions have invented, decorated to be sold in the market. The religious God is a commodity to be sold to the ignorant populace.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is a revolution. Ignorance will vanish through it; it is the fire of knowledge hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

If you are really seeking the truth, then you have to drop all your accumulated knowledge.

It is very easy to follow the religion. It is very convenient to accept the religious God but it is very difficult to accept the Soul, the  Self as  God in truth.

Accepting the Soul, the Self as God, there will be a transformation; if you accept the religious God, there can be none.

God in truth is not part of the form, time and space because  God in truth is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.  God in truth is the cause of the form, time and space but  God in truth is uncaused.

Remember:~

Rig Veda:~ Prajnanam Brahma- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Consciousness is the real God rest all is an illusion.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham- Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (Gita 14.27)

When Bhagavad Gita says, that God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Vedas, Upanishad, and Bhagavad Gita confirm the Soul, the  Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness.

The real God is stolen by ignorance and people worship ignorance as God because the religion propagated false God as real God.

All the ‘I-centric’ Gurus and their teachings lose their value in Soulcentric vision. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

If Advaita existed prior to Bhagavan Buddha, he would not have advocated sunyavada at all because Advaita is the final and ultimate truth.+

It is no use arguing Bhagavan Buddha is wrong or Sage Sankara is right, but where we are going wrong in our understanding the non-dualistic or Advaitic truth, propagated by the great Sages of the past. Some say, that without the sunyavada, Advaita philosophy could not have come into existence because Advaita starts from where sunyavada ends. That is why they say it is an extension of Buddhism. If Advaita existed prior to Bhagavan Buddha, he would not have advocated sunyavada at all because Advaita is the final and ultimate truth.
Since the Buddhist and Vedic scriptures have been passed down by hearing, they were written down only relatively late, so one wouldn't know whether to rely on the times they give. Also, a lot depends on the translation. Each 'Sloka' or sutta is open to many layers of interpretation.
Critics who declare Sage  Sankara's Advaitic wisdom as negative (because of his Neti, Neti) do not know that this is applied only to the witnessed (three states), the critic ignorantly believes that it is also applied to the formless witness (soul). The seeker should never negate the formless witness, only witnessed.
Sage Sankara himself had often said that his philosophy was based on Sruti, or revealed scripture. This may be because Sage Sri, Sankara addressed the ordinary man, who finds security in the idea of causality and thus in the idea of God—and Revelation is indispensable to prove the latter. Scriptural mastery is not wisdom:~
That is why Mundaka Upanishad:~ This Atman cannot be attained through the study of the Vedas, nor through intelligence, nor through much learning. He who chooses Atman—by him alone is Atman attained. It is the Atman that reveals to the seeker Its true nature. (3 page-70- Mundaka Upanishad. Upanishads by Nikilanada)
The Veda serves only at the starting point. What one has to learn from Veda must be understood through the exercise of reason, as far as reason might go. And what one has understood must be realized in one’s life.
It is not that one should pore over the ancient scriptures. There is no need to study first then realize. One has to realize first then only he will know ‘what is truth’ and ‘what is untruth’.
There are hundreds of commentaries on the Bhagavad Gita. Each one goes on spinning yarns imagining as he likes what the meaning may be. But once one acquires Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana he will know what they really meant, he will see that there is only one possible interpretation, irrespective of his opinion or imagination.
A permanent view of the world as unreal can come only after soul-centric reasoning; such knowledge cannot change. Were the seeker who is sufficiently sharpness he could grasp the unreal nature of the world by soul-centric reasoning alone. To know the whole truth, one must know the whole universe, otherwise, he gets only half-truth.
According to Advaita Vedanta, the Veda addresses itself to two kinds of audiences - the ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices, and the most advanced seeker who seeks to know Brahman. Thus, the Purva mimam.sa, with its emphasis on the karma kanda of the Vedas, is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. However, the Vedanta, with its emphasis on the jnana kanda, is meant for those who wish to go beyond such transient pleasures.
As one goes deeper in the subject one becomes aware of the fact that the religion, scriptures, and concept of God is nothing to do with the religious side of Advaita, the present religious-based Advaitic knowledge and theories are meant for the ignorant mass, who hold the religion as high, not the ultimate truth because religion is based on the form (waking entity) and they view and judge and argue on the base of the waking entity(ego) as the Self, but Gnanic Advaita is based on the formless (Soul) and it negates everything other than the formless Soul, the Self.
All the conceptual divisions invented by different philosophers by their excessive analysis.  all these concepts are never-ending.  they create more confusion and then they try to explain in their own way. Fortunate is the seeker who does not lose himself in the labyrinths of philosophies.
The ignorance is the cause of experiencing the duality (universe or waking) as reality. Thus, eradicating ignorance completely is necessary. And this is possible only through self-knowledge. Thus, there is no other road to freedom other than Gnana.
There is no other entrance other than Gnana. Ignorance will vanish only when the nondual wisdom dawns. Detachment to attachment is impossible without wisdom. Only when one realizes that the 'Self' is not the form but the 'Self' is formless, then only it is possible to detach the ‘Self’ from the false attachment.
That is Sage Sankara, in Bhaja Govindam says:~ [Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena] - One without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.
Thus, it proves that wisdom is universal irrespective of any religion of faith one belongs to. Thus, religion is not a means to Self-knowledge. Thus, Sage  Sankara’s Advaita minus orthodoxy is true Advaita. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
