Belief in non-Vedic religion and non-Vedic religious Gods and non-Vedic religious rituals keeps you permanently in the prison of ignorance.+

Belief in non-Vedic religion non-Vedic religious Gods and non-Vedic religious rituals keep you permanently in the prison of ignorance. God of belief is not God in truth.

Non-Vedic religious Gods and religious rituals, because, religious Gods are not God in truth, and rituals based on religious Gods are based on non-Vedic Gods barred by Vedas.
Holding non-Vedic God as real God is holding the superstition as God. Sticking to non-Vedic rituals is sticking to ignorance.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32: ~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed the Athma itself.

People, who worship  Gods based on blind belief, are hallucinating that they become one with such God.

Vedas itself says: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God,  Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second.

Advaita is the non-dual nature of the Soul, the Self. Advaita is the Soul itself. Advaita is the Soul, which is God in truth. Advaita is another word for God in truth, which is second to none.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Bhagavad Gita Chapter: ~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Kena Upanishad (6) Chapter I: ~ “That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended- That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (7) Chapter I:~ That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which the eye is perceived- That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (8) Chapter I:~ That which cannot be heard by the ear, but by which the hearing is perceived- That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (9)- Chapter I:~ That which cannot be smelt by the breath, but by which the breath smells an object- That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, that God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and the material then nothing has to be accepted as truth other than consciousness.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing because a wise man said it. Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you, yourself judge to be true.

Remember:~

Go beyond means mentally realizing God in truth:~

Beyond there is neither the ‘I’ nor the world in which you exist. There is only consciousness. The ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

The world in which you exist is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Without knowing what is this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality, the truth hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion, will not reveal. The ‘I’-centric teachings lead to hallucination.

People who argue that the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness does not exist are not aware of the fact that their own existence is dependent on the Soul, which is in the form of consciousness.

The ‘I’- centric teaching says the consciousness is temporary and ‘I’ is the permanent thing.

The ‘I’- centric teachings lead to all sorts of confusion. Sometimes they say the consciousness is an illusion. Sometimes they say I am an illusion. Sometimes they say the being is free from consciousness and I am.

So, still, they are in elementary stages without reaching anywhere. It is only hype created that ‘I-centric teaching is the ultimate.

Those who say the consciousness itself is an illusion and impermanent are still in the elementary stages.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani).

~ Then why stick a Guru who is not a Gnani.

That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

There is nothing that exists prior to consciousness. The ‘I’ ceases to exist without consciousness. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the ‘Self’ which not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is within the dualistic illusion. Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of consciousness, which is real and eternal.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is a permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.

All those whose intelligence has been stolen by the “I-centric” teaching, follow the path of ignorance.

Humanity has to awaken to the reality of its true existence by realizing the world in which humanity exists is merely an illusion created out of consciousness through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana frees the Soul, the Self from the cage of the dualistic illusion.

Sage  Sankara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in ignorance but thinking of themselves as wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

Swami Vivekananda said:~ The Vedas teach that the Soul is divine, only held in the bondage of matter; perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, Mukthi - freedom, freedom from the bonds of imperfection, freedom from death and misery."

The truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance. You have to only realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.

It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes a reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until he gets a firm conviction of what is what.

Words of wisdom are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’. People need to read and hear the words of wisdom to think reason reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’.

It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

One should not conclude because some great thinkers said so or some philosophers said so.

Without consciousness, the mind, which is in the form of the universe, ceases to exist. Man ceases to exist without the universe. The universe ceases to exist without the Soul, th  ‘Self’. The Soul can exist with or without the universe.

The form, time, and space are one in essence. That essence is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Deeper self-search is necessary to understand, assimilate, and realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

The Soul, the One without the Second: ~

The Soul is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Soul because It is the very essence of the one who denies It. The Soul is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. The Soul is the  Self.

The Soul is everything. Thus, the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Once the seeker accepts the fact that, the Self is neither the ‘I’, nor the body then realizes the fact that, consciousness is the true Self, and he establishes himself in that conviction.

Once this conviction is established then the waking experience is absolutely non-existent as reality.

It is very difficult for those who strongly believe the ‘I’, as the Self to realize the truth. Most of the spiritual paths hold the ‘I’, as the Self and spin their imagination on the base of the ‘I’, which leads them to hallucination.

People mistake that Self as “I” whereas the gross bodies are many. So ‘I’ cannot be the Self.

Sentimentally and emotionally getting involved with some teachings or a teacher is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth.

People hold their guru as the ultimate authority drop their pursuit of truth and indulge in glorifying and worshiping the gurus, which keeps them permanently in ignorance.

The serious seeker should constantly reflect on the Self through deeper Self-search. The Soul, the   Self is in the form of consciousness.

Realizing the Self is not ‘I’ but the Self is the formless Soul, which witnesses the ‘I’. Self-knowledge is the only tool for the acquisition of final freedom from experiencing the illusory universe as a reality.

The seeker has to be indifferent mentally to all three states because the three states are an illusion created out of consciousness.

Holding the three states as reality is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth. Thus, one has to remove all the obstacles and mental barricades one by one, by realizing the Self is not the form but the Self is the invisible  Soul.

The three states are perishable in their nature because they are an illusion created out of the Soul or consciousness.

The Soul or consciousness, which is the formless substance and witness of the illusory universe, is real and eternal. Thus the Soul or consciousness is the  Self. And knowing and realizing consciousness as the Self is the means to the attainment of Self-Realization or Truth-Realization.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the formless substance and witness of the three states. Consciousness is alone real and permanent. The three states are an object opposed to it, which is transient – such a settled conviction is truly known as discrimination.

Turning attention completely from all the three states and concentrating only on consciousness which is the formless substance and the witness of the three states is the only means to acquire non-dual wisdom.

An intense urge to become free from the bonds of this birth, life, death, and the world, leads, one to indulge in pursuit of truth.

Only serious seekers who have an intense urge to acquire Self-knowledge should have the courage to discard the false knowledge to attain non-dualistic wisdom.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Among thousands of men, scarcely one strives for perfection; and of those who strive and succeed, scarcely one knows the ‘Self’ in truth.

The path of wisdom attracts only those who are in search of truth and they appreciate it greatly. The ignorant are not spiritually mature enough to receive Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The ignorant indulge in argument provocation and personal attack, which hinders their own realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman.

That is why Jesus said:~ Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)

~ Jesus meant knowledge of the Spirit (God in truth) ~ Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth.”: ~Santthosh Kumaar
