First, know the difference between yourself and the real Self.+

The Self is not ‘you’ but the Self is the Soul. The Soul is not limited to ‘you’ but the Soul is one and it pervades the whole universe. Limiting the Soul to an individual is a great error.  

First, know the difference between yourself and the real Self. If you hold the Self as yourself, then you are holding the ego as the Self. Yourself belongs to an individual whereas the real Self is not an individual because the real Self is the Soul, which is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

All Gurus propagated ‘yourself’ as the real Self. They think the Self is within the physical body but they are unaware the Soul is ‘one’ but individuals are many. There are no separate individual Souls.   

No one has seen the Soul of a man. You can only say that you have seen different bodies. All the Gurus in the past misled seekers by limiting the Self to an individual. 

The ‘Self’ does not reside in the human heart, and one will not find the ‘Self’ in the human heart if he searches for it. The Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in the world in which we exist. Limiting the ‘Self’ to the human heart is erroneous. The truth is not a belief propagated by religion. 

You are limited to form, time, and space. You are not the ‘Self ‘because you are bound by birth, life, death, and the world whereas the Soul, the Self is limitless because it is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Till you think ‘I’ as the Self the Soul will remain in the cage of the dualistic illusion. The Soul, the Self, is the fullness of consciousness without the division of form, time, and space.

Remember:~

If you think the ‘Self’ is within your body then you will never be able to realize the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya (universe).

The ‘Self ‘is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ is the cause of the world in which you exist and it, itself is uncaused.

The world in which you exist is nothing but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, the ‘Self is not limited to you but it pervades the whole world in which you exist.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC- All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms is nothing else but Brahman (consciousness), which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya. 

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ The universe rises from the Soul, the  Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus, know the Self to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

Ashtavakra Gita:~ the Soul, the Self is perfect and the same in misery and happiness hope and despair, and life and death, therefore in this way enter into the state of dissolution.

The consciousness alone is supreme and real and nothing else is.” All the activities are happening within the practical world. 

The practical life within the practical world is an illusion from the ultimate standpoint. Thus, whatever is happening within the illusion is called practical truth.

If everything other than consciousness is an illusion then all three states are an illusion and also all the activities happening within the waking experience are an illusion.

The Soul is ‘one’ but individuals are many. There are no separate individual Souls.   No one has seen the Soul of a man. You can only say that you have seen different bodies.

The Soul is ‘One’ but individuals are many. Many Souls idea is a religious idea. People believe the Soul is within the physical body but in reality, the Soul is hidden by the universe because the universe is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  

Advaita means the Soul, the one without the second. There is no scope for the second Soul. Advaita is ekathma vada.

Sage Sankara asks his opponents "How do you know there are separate individual Souls? Have you seen the Soul of a man? You can only say that you have seen different bodies. To say more is to misuse language. Therefore, I call you liars unless you give proof, which is impossible.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe.

So, it proves the Soul is not an individual, but it is the support of all that exists in this universe.

The Soul is not limited to an individual. The individuals are many but the Soul is one. The individual exists within the universe. The Soul is the cause of the universe and it, itself is uncaused.

The Soul is not within the human body. The universe is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, whatever the universe contains is bound to be the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

All the Gurus propagated that the Soul is within the human body or heart this is a great mistake.

People think the Athma or the Soul or ‘Self’ is limited to an individual but it is not so because the Athma or the Soul or ‘Self’ pervades everywhere and everything in the universe.  The universe is merely an illusion created out of the Athma or the Soul or ‘Self’, which is present in the form of  consciousness.:~Santthosh Kumaar
