According to Vedas and Upanishads, all the religious propagated mythical Gods and beliefs are a myth.+

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom will one day replace all the religions of the world.

Religious Gods are mythical based on blind belief or faith. Mythical Gods are not God in truth.

Religion is based on blind belief whereas spirituality is based on the Spirit, the truth, which is the existence itself.

Spiritual truth is universal whereas religious truth is the individualized truth. Religion is based on a dualistic perspective whereas Spirituality is based on a nondualistic perspective.

Whatever is based on the dualistic perspective is egocentric and whatever is based on the nondualistic perspective is soulcentric.

There is no need for any religion. The religion is based on blind belief. The belief is not the truth. Religion conditions one based on blind belief. The belief is always based on the false self (ego), within the false experience (waking).

Believing in any religion is a great hurdle in assimilating the truth hidden by ignorance. From the ultimate standpoint, there is no value of any God based on blind belief.

Religion can never make you know God because it propagates the blind belief as God.

Only an intense urge to know what God is supposed to be in truth can make you realize God.

Whereas Spirituality is based on the Spirit, which is the cause of the world in which we exist.

Religion is the cause of wars, violence, and terrorism.

Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is pure spirituality nothing to do with religion, sect, or dualistic based spirituality.

Until Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is propagated effectively, many generations will suffer from violence, wars, and terrorism, which is going on in the name of religion and God.

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom will one day replace all the religions of the world because Advaitic wisdom is the knowledge of God in truth.

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom brings universal brotherhood and unity in diversity.

In Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is the power that can lead to peace."

There is a need to bifurcate religion from spirituality. People think religion is the stepping stone for Self-realization but it is not so.

The religion is based on ignorance and it keeps the seeker permanently in ignorance by hiding the truth with its mythical beliefs dogmas and superstition.

According to Vedas and Upanishads, all the religious propagated mythical Gods and beliefs are a myth.

By Spiritual-based upbringing, one becomes exposed to both the real and unreal, and the freedom from experiencing unreality as a reality.

The Soul, the ‘Self is the Infinite God.

The Soul is the Self. God is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. God is the fullness of the consciousness without the illusory division of form, time, and space. Therefore, there is nothing apart from it.

God in truth is self-evident. God is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny God in truth because God in truth is the very essence of the one who denies it. God in truth is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. God in truth is within the universe in which you exist, God in truth is without the universe in which you exist.

The Vedas confirm God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.

In Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~  God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

People, who worship the belief of God, are hallucinating that they become one with such God.

Vedas itself declares: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshipper and the worshiped, whereas God is non-dual. One can worship his idea of God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as a part.

When Upanishads and Vedas declare, “God is the form of the Athma and God is indeed Athma itself” then why accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman.

God is the Supreme Being the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness, and intelligence, which is beyond the form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Only the path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the true nature of the Universal Essence, which is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God in truth) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the ‘Self’ in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the Self. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

Brahman or God — The One Without A Second.

The Atman is self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Atman, because It is the very essence of the one who denies It. The Atman is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Self is within, Self is without; Self is before, Self is behind; Self is on the right, Self is on the left; Self is above and Self is below. Brahman is not an object, as it is Adrisya, beyond the reach of the eyes. Hence the Upanishads declare: “Neti Neti—not this, not this....” This does not mean that Brahman is a negative concept, or metaphysical abstraction, a nonentity, or a void. It is not another. It is all-full, infinite, changeless, Self-existent, Self-delight, Self-knowledge, and Self-bliss. It is Svarupa, essence. It is the essence of the witness. It is the Seer (Drashta), Transcendent (Turiya), and Silent Witness (Sakshi).

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object It is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described, because description implies a distinction Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal

By converting people from one religion to another one will not be able to realize God because God in truth does not belong to any religion. God is universal. All the religious Gods are not God in truth. You must realize what God is supposed to be in truth in this very life.

What is the use of indulging in wars, violence, and terrorism in the name of protecting religion and the religious idea of God? God is not a Hindu or Christian. God is not a Jew or Muslim or Buddhist.

All of those Gods in human form are imaginarily meant for the ignorant populace, who is not capable of grasping the real God hidden by ignorance (I).

The Advaitic path is not for the religious-minded people. The Advaitic path is pure spirituality. The Advaita path is to help the seeker to unfold the mystery of God. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Sexual intercourse is not a means to Self-realization.+

Sexual intercourse is not a means to Self-realization.

Q:~ Natalja von Wascinski-Schubert- Santthosh Kumaar, I fully agree, yet as a bridge -- that is as a lesson to teach the pure unity of the Self and nonduality -- intercourse of two polarities (male and female principles), that is joining together to pure (sinless) oneness in true love and respect=appreciation, human sex could become at its peak a very faint resemblance and remembrance of the overwhelming state of Atma?

Santthosh Kumaar:~ Suppose you had the same idea in a dream, the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when Advaitic wisdom dawns.

The Advaitic wisdom dawns when you realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

On the Standpoint of the Soul, the Self the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. Thus, all the happening within the illusion is bound to be an illusion. Until ignorance is there, the world in which you exist prevails as a reality.

When ignorance vanishes through Advaitic wisdom then the world in which you exist which you think as reality becomes an illusion.

Sage Goudpada quotes from the Upanishads: ~ "There's no plurality here"; "The Soul through its powers appears to be many"; "those who are attached to the creation or production or origination go to utter darkness"; "the unborn is never reborn, for what can produce it?”

Sage Goudapada’s rational exposition of Advaita: ~ Whatever is seen, whether external or internal, whether by the ordinary persons or yogis, is unreal.

Thus, whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced as a person within the waking experience is bound to be an illusion created out of consciousness. Thus, the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone, is real and eternal.

Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist. Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness, because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Sexual intercourse is not a means to Self-realization. Those who believe sexual intercourse as a means to Self-realization will permanently remain in the prison of ignorance.

Sexual intercourse is a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya. The Soul, the Self is hidden by dualistic illusion or Maya. The Soul, the Self is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya because the Soul or consciousness is the cause of the whole dualistic illusion or Maya.

Remember: ~

Jesus said: ~ Seek and ye shall find. Knock the doors shall open to you.
***
Gospel Thomas logian 22:~ Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to his disciples, “These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom.”

They said to him, “Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?”

Jesus said to them, “When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same so that the male not be male nor the female is female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom.”

Santthosh Kumaar: ~ This above passage is Jesus’s version of Nonduality or Advaita. When one realizes mind (matter) and the Soul (Spirit), the Self, are one, in essence. There is no place for the duality. Without duality, the universe ceases to exist. Without the universe, your existence within the universe is merely an illusion. There is scope for two because everything is created out of a single stuff. That single stuff is the consciousness or Spirit.

Until one thinks he is an individual separate from this world he remains in the realm of duality. Duality is the product of ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then the ignorance vanishes. When the ignorance vanishes, then the duality never remains a reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The spiritual quest is a personal journey to find out the truth of our true existence.+

The spiritual quest is a personal journey to find out the truth of our true existence.

Bhagavan Buddha says: ~ Go alone. To conquer one Self is a greater task than conquering others.

Whatever is not to happen in this world will not happen, try as you may. Whatever is to happen in this world will happen, whatever you may do to prevent it. The best course is to realize our circumstances in practical life in the practical world is merely an illusion.

Whether one is busy and another is lazy, one is poor and another is rich, one is working and another is not working, one is serving the society and another is harming society, one is religious and another is atheist and one is a terrorist and another is civilized or one is all are happening within the dualistic illusion or Maya.

Suppose if we are discussing some subject in a dream, the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when Advaitic wisdom dawns. The Advaitic wisdom dawns when you realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

Remember: ~

There is no need to walk in the mountains in search of the truth. There is no need to meet any Gurus. There is no need to renounce family life. There is no need to study the scriptures. There is no need to glorify the Gurus.

There is no need to spend a fortune to please the Gurus. Going to the mountains, searching for a Guru, renouncing the family life, studying the scriptures, and glorifying the personal Gods and Gurus are the greatest obstacles in the path of wisdom.

One need not be a monk, a sanyasi, or a swami to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Religious rituals scriptural mastery, are not a qualification to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Monkhood and sanyasa are the greatest obstacles in truth-realization, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

The spiritual quest is a personal journey to find out the truth of our true existence. It has nothing to do with society.

Bhagavan Buddha: ~ There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

There is no need to neglect practical life within the practical world. There is no need to indulge 24/7 in spirituality but use your spare time for that.

Do not neglect your family and personal life and spend money on your pursuit of truth. Be happy like any other human being who enjoys life with humility and dignity in the practical world.

Internally focus your attention on the Soul, the ‘Self’, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul, the Self is free from the illusory form, time, and space.

There is no need to renounce and take sanyasa to get Self-realization.

No amount of Diksha or yoga meeting Gurus and visiting Ashrams leads anywhere. Your guide is within and it guides you to the core that you are seeking.

Swami Vivekananda said:~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.”

Bhagavan Buddha said:~ Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you, yourself test and judge to be true.

You should not neglect your individual and family life. Enjoy life as it comes and also you have to face the difficulties as they come.

As your inner conviction about the Soul grows you will be able to realize ‘What is the truth?’ and ‘What is the untruth?’ and be able to see the world in which you exist as a passing cloud that hides the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time and space.

Come ye slow, or come ye fast; it is but the Soul that reveals itself at last.:~ Santthosh Kumaar

Religion has to be bifurcated from spirituality to realize the truth hidden by the illusory form, the time and space.+

Religion is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false, and by the politicians as useful.

The seeker of truth must realize that religion is not Spirituality or Adyatma. Religion is based on blind belief or faith whereas Spirituality is based on the Spirit, the God in truth.

Sage Sankara says: ~ Atman is Brahman. The Atman alone is real and is not religious truth. Sage Sankara declared this Advaitic truth, which is the ultimate truth to the whole world, many centuries back.

Advaitic truth is rational truth, scientific truth, and ultimate truth.

Thus, the Atman which is present in the form of the consciousness is real and eternal, the world in which we exist is merely an illusion.

People do not want to work persevering for the truth beyond form, time, and space. They expect enlightenment instantly. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana cannot be acquired so easily. Most people lack the patience and perseverance in investigating the truth, beyond the form, time, and space.

Religion is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. If one is seeking the truth, then he has to be free from all the religious beliefs and dogmas. Religion is based on the ego (you), whereas, the ultimate truth is based on the Soul, the Self. Whatever is based on the ego is an illusion and whatever is based on the Soul is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Religion has to be bifurcated from spirituality to realize the truth hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

There is no use in condemning religion. But one has to highlight how they cause hindrance and becomes an obstacle in the pursuit of truth.

There is no need to rebel against religion but to realize that religion is based on the false self within the false experience whereas spirituality is based on the Soul, the Self.

Religion makes humanity remain in ignorance of the reality of their true existence with its beliefs, superstitions, and dogmas, the ideas of heaven, hell, sin, karma, and rebirth.

Heaven is the abode of physicalized Gods, where one goes after death, rebirth, and karma theories based on the birth entity, which is the false self within the illusory world.

When Vedas and Upanishads give clear-cut ideas of what God is supposed to be then all these Gods and Goddesses which people worship have no value from the ultimate standpoint.

For those ignorant who believe their experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, think that the effect of action done in previous births, as the Prarabdha in this birth, but for the realized one the present birth, life, death and the world itself is an illusion because they have realized the fact that waking experience itself is an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Isa Upanishads indicate that: ~ By worshipping Gods and Goddesses and going to the world of Gods after death is of no use. The time one spends in ritualistic practices is wasted; one can spend the same time moving forward toward Self-knowledge, which is the main goal. One cannot reach the non-dual destination by glorifying gods and goddesses and by doing that, one goes deeper and deeper into darkness. It surely indicates the fact that the seeker of truth has to drop the worshiping god and goddess to get self-knowledge.

Sage Sankara says ~ “The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards are therefore addressed to an ignorant person.

Sage Sankara: ~ (11) As regards the rituals, Sage Sankara says, the person who performs rituals and aspires for rewards will view himself in terms of the caste into which he is born, his age, and the stage of his life, his standing in society, etc. In addition, he is required to perform rituals all through his life. However, the 'Self' has none of those attributes or tags. Hence, the person who superimposes all those attributes on the changeless, eternal Self and identifies Self with the body is confusing one for the other; and is, therefore, an ignorant person. The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are therefore addressed to an ignorant person. (Adhyasa Bhashya)

Sage Sankara:~ (11.1) This ignorance (mistaking the body for Self) brings in its wake a desire for the well-being of the body, aversion for its disease or discomfort, fear of its destruction, and thus a host of miseries(anartha). This anartha is caused by projecting karthvya(“doer” sense) and bhokthavya (object) on the Atman. Sage Sankara calls this adhyasa. The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are, therefore, he says, addressed to an ignorant person. (Adhyasa Bhashya)

Sage Sankara:~ (11.2) In short, a person who engages in rituals with the notion “I am an agent, doer, thinker”, according to Sage Sankara, is ignorant, as his behavior implies a distinct, separate doer/agent/knower; and an object that is to be done/achieved/known. That duality is Avidya, an error that can be removed by Vidya. (Adhyasa Bhashya)

Sage Sankara: ~ (12) Sage Sankara affirming his belief in one eternal unchanging reality (Brahman) and the illusion of plurality drives home the point that Upanishads deal not with rituals but with the knowledge of the Absolute (Brahma Vidya) and the Upanishads give us an insight into the essential nature of the Self which is identical with the Absolute, the Brahman. (Adhyasa Bhashya)

Sage Sankara: ~ Atman, the Self is verily Brahman (God), being equanimous, quiescent, and by nature absolute Existence, Knowledge, and Bliss. Atman is not the body that is non-existence itself. This is called true Knowledge by the wise.

Isa Upanishads: ~ Religious Rituals (Avidya) are Karma (action) and, therefore, a hindrance. Performing Agnihotra and other sacrifices (Avidya) is a roundabout way of purifying the mind, and it is also groping in the dark.

Vedic karma is limited only to religious rituals, not to the whole human life. This karma theory based on human conduct must have been adopted from Buddhism and other theories based on human conduct.

When it says: Perform the obligatory karmas without any attachment to the fruits and at the same time worship Gods and Goddesses, again without any desire to go to heaven - then you can get the benefit of both, liberation and bliss. For those who are not yet ready to renounce, this path is recommended, it means that the religion and its idea of God and Goddesses and code of conduct, and its rituals are meant for the mass who are incapable of thinking of the beyond.

If the ‘Self’ is not the body, then the karma theory has no meaning. From the standpoint of the Soul, the innermost Self no second thing exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, because, the world in which we exist is an illusion created out of consciousness. Thus, whatever karma performed by you within the world in which you exist has no value because the world in which you exist is an illusion.

Manduka Upanishad says ~ “The rituals and the sacrifices described in the Vedas deal with lower knowledge. The sages ignored these rituals and went in search of higher knowledge. ... Such rituals are unsafe rafts for crossing the sea of samsara, of birth and death. Doomed to shipwreck are those who try to cross the sea of samsara on these poor rafts. Ignorant of their own ignorance, yet wise in their own esteem, these deluded men Proud of their vain learning go around and round like the blind led by the blind.

Heaven is the abode of physicalized Gods, where one goes after death, rebirth, and karma theories based on the birth entity, which is the false self within the illusory world.

When Vedas and Upanishads give clear-cut ideas of what God is supposed to be then all these Gods and Goddesses which people worship have no value from the ultimate standpoint.\

Religious Gods are merely beliefs. Belief is not God. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ is the canter of all that exists. Without the Soul the world in which you exist ceases to exist, which means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence. God in truth is only the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32: ~  God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Religious Gods are mere beliefs. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul the innermost ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists. Without the Soul the world in which you exist ceases to exist, which means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence.

Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and the material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from the Self does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

No mantras help to get rid of ignorance. All the mantras and rituals are meant for the ignorant populace, which strongly believes, the world in which he exists as a reality. For one who wants to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the mantas will not help to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

That is why Sage Sankara: ~ VC~.61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
