Manduka Upanishad:~ The objects do not disappear, they are there, and yet they are non-dual.+

The illusory universe does not disappear when Advaitic wisdom dawns; it is there, and yet they are non-dual.
Manduka Upanishad:~ The objects do not disappear, they are there, and yet they are non-dual. Disillusionment is not the same as appearance. Page 74. v. 17
It is erroneous to believe the general impression is that the universe disappears to a Gnani, that he sees nothingness. Only deluded persons will have such an impression?
Nothing is destroyed. Only ignorance disappears and the unreal nature of the universe is exposed. The same way as the unreal nature of the dream is exposed when waking takes place.
The universe, which appears as the waking experience, is a dualistic illusion.
A Gnani has the full and firm conviction that the world in which he exists is nothing but consciousness in the midst of dualistic illusion. The Soul, the Self, being aware of its true nature in the midst of dualistic illusion, is called Self-awareness.
The universe or the waking experience will not disappear. It is there always, but the unreal nature of the waking experience is exposed in the midst of dualistic illusion through Advaitic wisdom.
If one thinks mere disappearance thoughts in the Yogic Samadhi is the ultimate Truth or Brahman, then he would get it in deep sleep. Thus, the Yogic Samadhi is not the Advaitic wisdom.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Manduka Upanishad:~ Existence means existence in the sense of the Atman.+

  • Manduka Upanishad:~"Both the waking and the sleeping world must be known, both objects and non-objects must be understood before the truth of Brahman is realized. Page 96. v. 29
Manduka Upanishad:~ In deep sleep and anesthesia, you have non-duality but no Gnana. Therefore, there must be discrimination along with non-duality. Otherwise, the sleeping dogs would be Gnanis. ~ (P.219)
Manduka Upanishad:~ Existence means existence in the sense of the Atman. When you reduce everything to consciousness, Gnana, or even giving up all imagination in truth, it is unborn. P.300. V.45.
    Remember:~
Self-inquiry is finding out the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the illusory universe in which we exist.
By inquiring, ‘Who am I?’, the ignorance will not vanish. Without getting rid of ignorance, the Advaitic wisdom will not dawn.
Without the Advaitic wisdom, it is not possible to realize the truth, which is hidden within the world in which we exist.
That is why Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-63- Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.
Sage Sankara says ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something detrimental to our spiritual progress.
Sage Sankara says the transparent truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman (Gnani).
By inquiring Who is that you. Nothing is gained. The inquirer himself is the ego. Without the ego, you do not exist. The Self is not you because you are the ego.
The Self is not you, but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The seeker has to drop all his egocentric accumulated knowledge, and only then is he fit to grasp the Self-knowledge.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Chandogya Upanishad: ~ “Whoever sees the Self in all does not see death, disease, or diversity.+

Chandogya Upanishad: ~ “Whoever sees the Self in all does not see death, disease, or diversity.
Sage Goudapada’s rational exposition of Advaita:~ Whatever is seen, whether external or internal, whether by the ordinary persons or yogis, is unreal.
The moon reflecting on water and appearing as many, the self is just like the reflection of the moon on water, which increases with the volume of water and decreases with its reduction, which moves when the water moves, and which differs as the water differs. The moon seems to conform to the characteristics of water, but in reality, the moon never has these increasing or decreasing qualities. So also, from the highest point of view, consciousness always retains its sameness; it seems to conform to such characteristics as increase and decrease of the limiting adjunct, owing to its entry into such an adjunct as a universe.
Thread is drawn from cotton and is woven into cloth. But the reality of cotton is in both of these forms, viz., thread and cloth. Similarly, the projections of names and forms of this material universe on consciousness do not alter the nature of consciousness. It remains as it is without any change.
One can also illustrate the uniqueness of consciousness by analysing the phenomenon of dreams. The dream is a parallel waking state experience. And waking state is parallel dream .
The three states are an object to the subject, which is formless consciousness. Consciousness is the formless substance and witness of the three states.
One is unaware of the subject because he considers the waking entity as the Self and views and judges the three states, which is erroneous.
The waking entity is limited to the waking experience, and the dream entity is limited to the dream experience. In deep sleep, the waking or dream experiences are absent; thus, the Soul, the invisible witness, remains in its formless nondual true nature, but due to ignorance of the invisible Soul, the Self, which is the substance and witness of the three states, one experiences the three states as reality.
When one becomes aware of the formless witness of the three states, then one becomes aware that, the three states are merely an illusion from the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced within the waking experience is a falsehood.
The experience of the universe and birth, life, and death are myth. Thus, the religious Gods based on blind belief, heaven, hell, paradise, sin, karma, rebirth, and reincarnation is myth.
Thus, by worshiping a personal god and following a religion, studying scriptures is for those who are incapable of realizing the truth of their true existence.
Bhagavad Gita Krishna says: ~It is only one amongst thousands of people who strive for spiritual salvation. Even amongst such seekers, it is only the rare person who gets to know “Self” correctly.’ (7.3)
Existence is nondual. Nonduality cannot be described through words, for all uses of language fail to express it. Nonduality is sought to be indicated mentally negation of duality (all attributes and characteristics).
If people have believed false Gods propagated by religion over millions of years, the length of time does not prove it is God in truth.
Sage Sankara says:~ How can the talk of diversity, dvaita, apply to the Supreme Reality, which is one and homogeneous, Advaita? Who has ever observed diversity, dvaita, in the unmixed bliss of the state of profound sleep?
Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?" etc, because that is the right way to understand and assimilate.
The seeker has to grow from the inside out. None can teach him, none can make him spiritual. There is no other Guru but the Soul, the Self. :~Santthosh Kumaar

If the body is not the unborn, an eternal Atman, the Self, then the karma theory has no meaning on the standpoint of truth.+

As Sage Sankara says: When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
If the body is not the unborn, an eternal Atman, the Self, then the karma theory has no meaning on the standpoint of truth.
Thus, no second thing exists other than Atman; therefore, why view the worldview from the standpoint of the body as the Self [I] when the body [I] is the false self, and the Atman is the true Self.
If the body is not the Self, then birth, life, death, and the universe are bound to be illusions.
If birth, life, and death are illusions, then all conduct actions and their fruits are mere illusions.
If the body is not the Self, then the existence of god, heaven, and hell is merely an illusion.
If the body is not the Self, then all religious God based on blind belief is merely illusion.
If the body is not the Self, but the Atman is the true Self, then there is no scope for a second thing other than Atma; therefore, Atman is Brahman or the ultimate truth.
The Brahman alone is real and eternal. Thus, whatever is real and eternal has to be identified as god. To identify the real and eternal, one has to overcome the ignorance caused by the illusion. To overcome ignorance, one has to acquire Self-knowledge.
The individual experience within the dream is reality within the dream. The waking state reality is also is reality within the waking state.
The waking state is a parallel dream, and the dream is a parallel waking state.
Only when Atman, the Self, wakes up in waking, the dream becomes unreal.
When the Atman, the Self conscious, wakes up in its formless non-dual true nature in the midst of the waking state n then all the three states are merely an illusion created out of invisible Atman or consciousness.
The form, time, and space within the dream are falsehoods when waking takes place. Similarly, the form, time, and space of the waking are also falsehoods when Advaitic wisdom dawns.
The Advaitic wisdom dawns only when one realizes the Self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity. Thus, it is erroneous to judge and reason, and conclude the ultimate truth on the base of the waking entity and waking world because waking experience itself is an illusion. ~ . ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Religious Gods are based on blind belief. The religious God cannot be considered as the cause of the universe.+

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material, then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
Even the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
Religious Gods are based on blind belief. The religious God cannot be considered as the cause of the universe because the invisible Soul, the Self, is the cause of the universe.
Without the invisible Soul, the universe n which you exist ceases to exist; it means the religious Gods are dependent on the universe for their existence, but the universe is dependent on the invisible Soul for its existence.
Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10).
No mantras help to get rid of ignorance. All the mantras and rituals are meant for the ignorant populace, which strongly believes, the world in which it exists is a reality.
For one who wants to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the mantras will not help to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC~.61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?
VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together.
Sage Sankara goes on to say: ~A sickness not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman.” Brahman must be realized. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying, “I am a king.”
A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Religion and yoga have nothing to do with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana.+

All your accumulated knowledge is from a religious source, and the yogic path is based on a dualistic perspective.
Religion and yoga have nothing to do with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana.
All you accumulated knowledge is not of any use in realizing the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
You should not hold your accumulated knowledge as a yardstick or a question.
If you want to realize the truth, then you have to drop all accumulated knowledge and start afresh.
All my blogs and postings are verified truth. As one goes on reading, all his doubts and confusion will start clearing.
It takes time to be receptive to Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because it is the Soulcentric knowledge, whereas all accumulated knowledge are egocentric.
I am highlighting all the obstacles in the inner journey and how to overcome these obstacles. All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the path of wisdom.
I am not trying to prove my views, but it is for every seeker, who is on the path of wisdom, to realize himself “What is truth, “and “What is untruth?” to assimilate the Self–knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The origin of the mind is the Soul. The Soul is the Self. The formless Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
The mind is in the form of the universe. The mind comes and goes as waking or dream. The ego or physical entity does not become steady in one place and it is restless in its nature.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana cannot be surmised by merely reading the Vedas and Upanishads.
The urge to know the truth arises from the innermost source. The source is the Soul. The mind and its substance and the source are one in essence. The mind or universe is the product of ignorance. The true nature of the mind (the universe) can be recognized with the power of discrimination.
Discrimination between the eternal and non-eternal is necessary to acquire Self–knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Realize the Self is not 'you' but the Self is the Sou to get rid of ignorance.+

Identifying the Self as 'you' keeps one in the prison of ignorance. Realize the Self is not 'you' but the Self is the Sou to get rid of ignorance.

Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the illusory universe or Maya as reality.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul, the Self is present in the form of Consciousness.

The nature of Consciousness is non-dualistic awareness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

The Soul, the Self is without hate, without infatuation, without craving, without greed.

The Soul, the Self has neither arrogance, nor conceit, nor jealousy because it is ever nondual.

The Soul has neither religion nor gender and it is ever free from illusory duality.

The Soul, the Self is without fear, without death, without discrimination, without caste because it is ever nondual.

The Soul, the Self has neither kith nor kin, neither teacher nor student because it is unborn.

The Soul, the Self is without form, without figure, without resemblance because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The Soul, the Self  pervades  everything and everywhere in the illusory universe or Maya
.
The Soul, the Self has Neither father nor mother because it is unborn eternal.

The Soul the Self is without sins, without merits, without elation, without sorrow because it is ever nondual.

Self-realization cannot be achieved through Neither mantras nor rituals, neither pilgrimage nor Vedas.

The Soul, the Self is Neither the experiencer, nor experienced, nor the experience.

The Soul, the Self is Consciousness, the Soul, the Self is awareness.

The Soul, the Self is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. :~Santthosh Kumaar
