Avadhuta Gita: ~ “The Atman cannot be purified through the practice of the six limbs of yoga, or through the annihilation of the mind, or through the instruction of a teacher. The Atman is the ultimate reality itself and it is purity itself."

From the standpoint of the Soul, the ‘Self’, the visions, and Samadhi belong to the illusion because they are based on the false ‘Self’ (ego) within the false experience (waking).

It is not possible to stop thought for more than a half-second whilst in the waking state. If one succeeds in controlling thought and then banishes it, one passes into Nirvikalpa Samadhi, which is identical to deep sleep. The only difference between ordinary deep sleep and Samadhi, therefore, is that the ordinary man falls asleep involuntarily whereas the yogi has the satisfaction of knowing that he has passed into sleep by his own effort of will in banishing thoughts.

Yogic Sage Patanjali warns against sleep as a hindrance to yoga, he means when it occurs in the early stages of the practice before one has obtained the power of control and consequently to banish the thoughts. This fact that Samadhi is deep sleep is kept secret because people would not be tempted to take up yoga.

Yoga sharpens the ego, to enable it to keep away all extraneous thoughts when one gets out to reason in the practice of the next higher stage, i.e. Gnana. Yoga is thus simply a sharpening stone for the ego to enable it to take up Advaitic Gnana.

In Sutra Bashya and Mundaka: ~ Samadhi and sleep are identical. Brihad Upanishad does not advocate Samadhi.:~Santthosh Kumaar

The seeker has to discover afresh on his own to realize’ what is the truth?’ and ‘what is the untruth?+

In the scientific field knowledge, one can bank on the discoveries of different scientists. Newton discovered the law of gravity and Einstein formulated the principle of relativity. And scientists take it for granted that these principles are valid. It is not so in pursuit of truth. 

If one sage discovers the ultimate truth, it cannot be accepted blindly by the seeker without verification.

The seeker has to discover afresh on his own to realize’ what is the truth?’ and ‘what is the untruth?’ and accept only the truth and mentally drop the untruth. Thus, constant reflection on the subject is very much necessary in pursuit of truth.

The dualist says: - Consciousness and mind are co-eternal. Each is independent of others; each represents one complimentary aspect of reality. While the mind is present, consciousness is absent. 

It is through collaboration between these two aspects of reality that evolution takes place. Apart from these two aspects of reality, the realists or dualists do not recognize the ultimate reality transcending these, serving as the base of these.

From the dualistic perspective, the world in which we exist is a reality. From the non-dualistic perspective, the world in which we exist is an illusion.

First, the seeker has to know ‘what is the mind” What is the substance of the mind? And ‘what is the source of the mind? , to realize ‘what is what’?

The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality). 

Thus, a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is necessary to realize that form, time, and space are an illusion created out of single stuff.

The purpose of the spiritual pursuit is to realize the whole world in, which we exist, is created out of a single stuff. And that single stuff is the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the Self.

From the standpoint of the Soul the Self, the world in which we exist is an illusion.

Nothing can be independent of consciousness because no second thing exists other than consciousness. The whole universe without form, time, and space is consciousness. 

Without form, time, and space there is no universe but it is only the formless nondual consciousness. But this truth has to be grasped to assimilate and realize the true essence of non-duality.

The ultimate conclusion is there is no second thing exists other than consciousness. Everything is consciousness. Thus, diversity has no value in light of wisdom. Thus, recognizing the world is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness brings unity in diversity.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Different paths will not converge to the same Ultimate Reality because they are based on the false self (you).+

Different paths will not converge to the same Ultimate Reality because they are based on the false self (you). They are not different stages on the same path.

People fight about the differences and greatness of their chosen paths but only through wisdom, one can realize the Ultimate Reality.

Sage Goudpada's rational exposition of Advaita: ~ “Whatever is seen, whether external or internal, whether by the ordinary persons or yogis is unreal”.

Thus, whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced as a person is a reality within the waking experience (duality) but the waking experience (duality) itself’ is merely an illusion.

To say the universe is an illusion without first examining it and inquiring into its nature thoroughly is to delude oneself. 

This world is common to every one of us; therefore the seeker of truth must begin his inquiry with it. It is only after he has inquired into the nature of the objective world, that he realizes the universe which through ignorance appears as diverse forms is nothing else but the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

Those who assert the world is not an illusion because they are unaware of the fact that, the world is the reality within the illusion (waking). And they are frightened to consider the world as an illusion. Without considering the world as an illusion, it is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC-63-"Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

After verifying through deeper inquiry if one finds the world is the reality within the illusion then he cannot again say the world is not an illusion.

If one is frightened to accept the world is an illusion (waking) then he is unfit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. 

Those who are stuck with the reality of the world are stuck with the reality of the individual experiences of birth, life, and death, which take place within the unreal world. Thus the pursuit of truth is for those who have the courage to accept reality as it is, that is the reality without form, time and space.

When you finally realize the Self  ‘is not you but the Self is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, you, your experience of birth, life, death, and the world are merely an illusion created out of consciousness, the consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaita is Brahman. Advaita is God in truth, the one without the second.+

Advaita is not a religion. Advaita is not philosophy. Advaita is not yoga. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the Soul itself. Advaita is the ultimate truth. Advaita is Brahman. Advaita is God, the one without the second.

The word ‘One’ is not understood anywhere except in the Advaitic path. ‘One’ always means two when analyzed. Hence, the Upanishads are careful to show they do not mean this monism, but "One without a Second” is the Advaita. No philosophers of the world have seen this point. Monism is really a pseudo-monism that is the duality.

Unless one realizes the Soul as the ‘Self’, as it really is” it is impossible to realize the nondualistic or Advaitic truth.

The Soul, the ‘Self is the Infinite God. The Soul, the God itself is Advaita.

The Soul is the innermost Self. God is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. God is the fullness of consciousness without the illusory division of form, time, and space. Therefore, there is nothing apart from it. 

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth. Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Nothing matters but realizing God in truth. God in truth, is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth, is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone, is real and eternal, and all else is an illusion.

God in truth is self-evident. God is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny God in truth because God in truth is the very essence of the one who denies it. God in truth is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. God in truth is within the universe in which you exist, God in truth is without the universe in which you exist.

The Vedas confirm God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.

 Yajurveda – chapter- 32: ~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

People, who worship the belief of God, are hallucinating that they become one with such God.

Vedas itself says: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshipper and the worshiped, whereas God is non-dual. One can worship his idea of God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as a part.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

When the Upanishads and Vedas declare that “God is in the form of the Athma, and God is indeed Athma itself” then why accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

The ‘Self is not within you but the ‘Self’ is hidden by the ‘I’.+

The ‘Self is not within you but the ‘Self’ is within the ‘I’. Realize what is this ‘I’? - in actuality then you will never use the word ‘I’ for the ‘Self’.

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes to realize the truth, which is hidden by ignorance. 

‘I’ is not the reality. Whenever the ‘I’ is there the dualistic illusion is present. Whenever the dualistic illusion is present the world in which you exist is present. The world in which you exist appears and disappears.

Thus, ‘I’ appears and disappears. The ‘I’ is not permanent. The Soul, Self is the witness of the coming and going, of the ‘I’.

It is erroneous to identify the Soul, the innermost Self as the ‘I'. ‘I’ represents ignorance. How can you watch the ‘I’ the truth which is hidden by the ‘I’. By you keeping quiet and keeping silent the truth will not emerge.

If the Self is not ‘I’ but the Self is the Soul then from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self: ~

Where is the ‘I’?

Where is the ego?

Where is the body?

Where is the mind?

Where is the world in which you exist?

Where is the form, time, and space?

Where is the waking experience?

Where is the duality?

Where is void?

They are or have become one with the Soul which is present in the form of the consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

The ‘I’ is present only when the mind is present. The mind is present only when the world is present. The world is present only when there is a waking experience.

Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that the waking experience is not considered different from the world. The world is not considered different from the mind. The mind is not considered different from the I’. This truth has to be assimilated.

The ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. ‘I’ is not the subject. The ‘I’ is an object to the Soul, which is the formless, timeless, and spaceless subject.

If ‘I’ is an illusion then the world in which you exist is bound to be an illusion.

If ‘I’ is an illusion then three states, are bound to be an illusion.

If ‘I’ is an illusion then the form, time, and space are bound to be an illusion.

If 'I’ is an illusion then the individual experience of birth, life, and death is bound to be an illusion.

If ‘I’ is an illusion then the words and thoughts are bound to be an illusion.

If ‘I’ is an illusion then the duality is bound to be an illusion.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

There is nothing exists prior to consciousness. The ‘I’ ceases to exist without consciousness. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

That is why the Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, that God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist.

Consciousness is self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.: ~Santthosh Kumaar

It is high time for humanity to realize what God is supposed to be in actuality to realize the God, which they believe and worship not God in truth.+

Until you become rational there is no chance of realizing God in truth, which is hidden by the religious myth.

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara will expose all the Myths propagated by religion. Sage Sankara himself the Saguna Brahman or a personal God is only a part of the phenomenal (if not illusory) world, and the Nirguna Brahman is the only reality and has nothing to do with religion.   

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God in truth) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). God is above all needs and desires. God is always the Witnessing Subject. God can never become an object as God is beyond the reach of the senses. God is non-dual, one without a second. God has no other besides it. God is destitute of difference, either external or internal. God cannot be described because the description implies a distinction. God cannot be distinguished from any other than God. In God, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constituted the very essence or Svarupa of God, and not just God's attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

It is high time for humanity to realize what God is supposed to be in actuality to realize the God, which they believe and worship not God in reality.

Religious Gods are not God in truth. Spiritual God is God in truth because God is Spirit. 

The universe is nothing but an illusion created out of God. Whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced as an individual is nothing but an illusion created out of God, the Spirit. God does not belong to any particular religion because God is universal.

Religious Gods are not universal God in truth is Spirit is universal. People are unaware of the fact that whatever they believe and worship as God is not God in truth according to their own scriptures.

Bhagavad Gita:~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Kena Upanishad (6) Chapter I: ~ “That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended- That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (7) Chapter I: ~ That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which the eye is perceived- That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (8) Chapter I: ~ That which cannot be heard by the ear, but by which the hearing is perceived- That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (9)- Chapter I: ~ That which cannot be smelt by the breath, but by which the breath smells an object alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

The Bible says: ~ God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) 

God is not physical but God is the Spirit. God is the truth. Realize God in truth and that the truth of God will set you free.

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the  Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. 

From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

3. Jesus said:~"If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you. (Jesus spoke and Didymos Judas Thomas recorded)

5. Jesus said:~"Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. [And there is nothing buried that will not be raised.]" (Jesus spoke and didymous Judas Thomas recorded)

Call it by any name God in truth is universal. God in truth belongs to the whole of humanity. 

Religion creates separation God is unity in diversity. God in truth is one and is the cause of the whole universe in which humans exist.

Consciousness, which is God in truth is the cause of the illusory universe  is real and eternal. 

God alone is real and all else is an illusion. There is no second thing that exists other than the Spirit, God thus, God is Advaita.

Religion belongs to you.  Religious God belongs to you. All religious code of conduct belongs to you.  But remember you belong to the illusory universe because the universe in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Spirit, which is God in truth. God in truth is present in the form of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

God in truth is divine, only held in the bondage of ignorance (matter); perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, freedom, freedom from the bonds of imperfection, freedom from ignorance.

Know God in truth.

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth. The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

People are not aware that there is no religious God that can exist, apart from the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

Religious Gods are based on blind faith or belief. Religious God cannot be considered as the cause of the universe because the Soul the ‘Self’ is the cause of the universe. Without the Soul, the universe in which you exist ceases to exist, which means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says: "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from the Self does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

People are unaware that their  God based on blind belief is not God in truth. From the Vedic perspective, their  God based on blind belief itself is superstition.

The populace is not bothered to find out the truth of their own God which they believe in and worship.

All they want is a happy life of ease with plenty of money, security, and other comforts at their command. Thus, the populace is seeking a happy life with comforts free from fear. People are strongly conditioned to believe in birth, life, and death, therefore, the idea of birth, life, and death will not diminish until one realizes the experience of birth, life, and death are part of the illusion.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

When the Self is not the body, but the Self is the formless Soul, then the question of ‘Sahasrara’ and 'Sushumna’ does not arise, because ‘Sahasrara’ and ‘Sushumna' are within the body.+

Dattatreya's Song of the Avadhut 1.36-42:~ Non-duality is taught by some; some others teach duality. They don't understand that the all-pervading Reality is beyond both duality and non-duality.

Sage  Ramana Maharshi: ~ "The location of the Heart is of the chest and not on the left. The light of the consciousness flows from the heart through the Sushumna channel to ‘Sahasrarara’.(KNOW YOUR SELF~page 31)~

From ‘Sahasrarara’ consciousness spreads all over the body, then the experience of the world arises. Viewing themselves as different from that consciousness human beings get caught up in the cycle of birth and deaths.  

 The ‘Sahasrarara’ of one who abides in the Self is pure light only. Any thoughts which approach it cannot survive.

Even when objects are perceived, because of their nearness, it does not destroy yoga as the mind sees no differences.

The state in which awareness is firm,  even when objects are sensed, is called the natural state.  In Nivikalpa Samadhi, there is no objective perception.

The entire universe is in the body and the whole body is in the Heart. Hence, the universe is contained within the Heart. 

Sage Ramana Maharishi: ~ He placed his right hand on his right breast and continued, "Here lies the Heart, the dynamic, spiritual Heart. It is called Hridaya and is located on the right side of the chest and is clearly visible to the inner eye of an adept on the spiritual path. Through meditation, you can learn to find the Self in the cave of this Heart." ~ Mercedes de Acosta, Here Lies the Heart

Santthosh Kumaar: ~ When the Self is not the body,  but the Self is the formless Soul,  then the question of  ‘Sahasrara’ and  'Sushumna’ does not arise,  because ‘Sahasrara’ and  ‘Sushumna' are within the body. 

The spiritual heart is the Soul, the Self, not the physical heart. The world in which you exist is within the Soul, the spiritual heart. 

Mistaking the spiritual heart within the body is a great error. Even some Advaitic guru says that the Self is within the spiritual heart. And the spiritual heart is on the left side.  Such a declaration is merely an imagination, based on the false self. 

When the Self is bodiless, then the question of the heart being left side or right side does not arise.  

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~  The Self is indeed Brahman, but through ignorance, people identify it with intellect, mind, senses, passions, and the elements of earth, water, air, space, and fire. This is why the Self is said to consist of this and that and appears to be everything. 

The Self is not ‘I’ but the Self is the formless Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the substance and witness of the ‘I’. 

When one realizes the Soul is the Self then he is freed from experiencing the dualistic illusion or Maya as reality.

The falsehood is present in the form of ‘I’ (mind or universe).the ‘I’ is the cause of ignorance.  

If one crosses the ‘I’ (mind or universe) than the Self in the kingdom of nondual heaven without the body and without the experience of the world (waking).

The seeker must realize the Soul, the Self, itself is the spiritual heart.  The Soul the spiritual heart is ever formless. The Soul itself is the spiritual heart is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness.

Without the form, time, and space, the Soul, the Self, becomes naked. The nature of the Soul, the Self is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. 

Consciousness is self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is the true Self.  

Consciousness is within, the consciousness is without; the consciousness is before, the consciousness is behind;  consciousness is on the right, consciousness is on the left;  consciousness is above and consciousness is below.  

Until one thinks his body as body, ego as ego the universe as the universe he remains in ignorance because he is still in ignorance and he is unaware of the fact that they too are consciousness.  

A Gnani sees only unity in diversity, just like a goldsmith estimating the gold in various items of jewelry sees only gold. 

When one identifies the Self with the form then only the form, time, and space are present. But when one transcends form, time and space the duality never remain as reality.:~Santthosh Kumaar
