Gnanis are one in millions for they have ignored the opinions of whole peoples in their independent search of truth.+*****

Gnanis are one in millions for they have ignored the opinions of whole peoples in their independent search of truth, and questioned all beliefs, all scriptures, all authorities, until they could be proved to be true.

Even the arguments that religions have been followed since time immemorial makes no difference to  a Gnani , because if people have believed a false thing over thousands of years, the length of time does not prove it true.

The Gnani’s position is that if enjoyment comes, he accepts it; if it does not, he keeps quiet. Even when he is taking pleasures, however, he is not deluded by them and he regards them as a passing show he knows their unreality: he does not take them seriously. Clouds do not affect the sky, although they appear to; so the pleasures do not change a Gnani because he is fully aware of the fact that the pleasure, pain, and the world are one in essence and that essence is consciousness. .

The Gnani will live according to circumstances. There are no prohibitions for him. He may be a cab driver or a president.

Gnanis do not perform miracles to attract attention to the truth because they are fully aware of the fact that, the universe in which they exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

Even whilst in the stage of imagined experience of objects a Gnani has his realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman. A Gnani is fully aware of the fact that, the form, time, and space are one in essence. There is no division in consciousness.

One who realizes his own Soul, as in deep sleep, is indifferent to pleasure or pain, whereas one who realizes the ultimate truth or Brahman i.e. whole world, feels the pleasure and pain, but they are transient.

A Gnani is of no special use to the ordinary ignorant man as the latter cannot understand him nor grasp the truth propagated by him. Hence, such men do not need Gnanis to teach them. Only those seekers, who have doubts and questions of the highest order, should follow Gnanis. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

A true Gnani can never renounce anything. +*****

A true Gnani can never renounce anything. It is impossible. He has only renounced ignorance. For Gnani,  the world is an illusion. Viewed from the absolute there's neither birth nor life nor death, neither appearance nor disappearance, neither production nor destruction, neither bondage nor liberation. None seeks freedom nor is there any who is liberated - this is the highest truth.
A Gnani knows that there's neither unity nor plurality - the world is neither one nor many. Just as a piece of rope is mistaken for a snake, the Atman is mistaken for this diverse world. Duality is an appearance and the non-dual Atman is the real truth.

What is the nature of a Gnani?

Among thousands of people, scarcely one strives for perfection; and of those who strive and succeed, scarcely one knows the Self in truth. The one who knows the truth beyond the form, time, and space is A Gnani.

The A Gnani is one who is endowed with the power of seeing the world in which he exists on the non-dualistic perspective.

Gnani shares Self- knowledge of Brahm Gnana or Atma Gnana to the seekers and helps them to reach the ultimate end of understanding.

A Gnani is unattached to the dualistic illusion though externally living in the illusory world but internally he is not of this world.

A Gnani has renounced all kinds of’ worship of religious God, rituals, and yoga, and scriptural studies.

A Gnani’s sole aim is to impart the Self-knowledge of Brahm Gnana or Atma Gnana.

A seeker, who has to learn to view the three states on the non-dualistic perspective, will be able to cross the ocean of the dualistic illusion.

The seeker must first know the definition of the ‘Self’ by realizing the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is ‘I-LESS Soul will be able to cross the ocean of transmigratory existence of the form, time, and space.

Nothing is needed for acquiring Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana other than perfect understanding, assimilation, and realization of ‘what is what”: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Bhagavad Gita says:~ “Don't unsettle the minds of ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth.++*****

Bhagavad Gita says:~  Don't unsettle the minds of ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth."
The Gnani is neither a Sanyasi, nor swami, nor Guru, nor a yogi. He is above all stages. He is beyond form, time, and space. Gnani, having realized Atman as dwelling within impermanent states is bodiless, pervades the three states as its formless substance and witness and permanent and eternal.

Both Gnani and ignorant see the multiplicity, but Gnani does not take the differences which he sees as being real. That is the difference between them. A Gnani sees the unity behind the differences and considers the form, time and space are one in essence. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

A Gnani is a rational thinker.+

A Gnani is a rational thinker. A Gnani will not be so foolish as to argue with an irrational man; the latter will put great warmth of feeling into his words, whereas the other will remain cool and calm headed, not wasting his time in attempting to reason with someone who is incapable of reasoning calmly, but can only rationalize his emotions.
The Gnani will always concern about humanity within the practical world, but at the same time, he is fully aware of the fact that the universe in which he exists is merely an illusion. Gnani, by means of concentration on the true ‘Self’, realizes that ancient, effulgent hidden and which dwells and pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states as its formless substance and witness.
A crowd in the public place will contain men of varying capacities to understand, of whom only one or two might be ripe for truth, therefore, a Gnani will not indulge in delivering public lectures or indulge in public debate for propagating the Nondualistic or Advaitic truth; people can only lecture for giving out falsehood, the illusions that appeal to the taste of the audience.
A crowd in the public place will contain men of varying capacities to understand, of whom only one or two might be seekers for truth or ripe for truth. If anyone is ripe for truth a Gnani will guide to reach the ultimate end of understanding. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The Self is not within you.+

From the standpoint of the Soul, the  Self, you, and the world in which you exist mere an illusion created out of consciousness. Thus, your existence is merely an illusion. The Self is not within you.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is the real ‘Self’. Consciousness is not limited to you because it pervades everything and everywhere in the whole world in which you exist.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ helps to realize the ‘Self, which is beyond the form, time, and space.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate reality or Brahman.
The Gurus, who mix practical life and the practical world and preach Advaita, have made their own cocktail, which leads to hallucination. The question never occurs to them “Is what I have preached is really the truth?
Sermons consisting of ornamental words, the profusion of words, and possessing skilfulness in expounding scriptures are merely for the enjoyment of the intellectuals. They do not help to get rid of ignorance.
Upanishads: ~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)
The Scriptures' mastery, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
The ultimate truth is revealed in the clear understanding and realization of ‘what is truth and ‘what is untruth'.
When one realizes the untruth (universe) is created out of single stuff, Self-awareness rises in the midst of duality exposing the unreal nature of the form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The consciousness is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused.+

Consciousness is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused. The universe is nothing but consciousness. Modern science has yet to discover the consciousness is the cause of the universe, which was discovered and declared by Sage Sankara 1200 years back.
Advaita is not a philosophy, but Advaita is the nature of the Soul. There is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
At that ultimate understanding - there is only Self-awareness. Existence-consciousness cannot be divided. If one sees divisions they are only apparent and not real. If one takes the apparent as real, then all other factors become real.
The Advaita is the oldest wisdom of India has been buried under the debris of religion, diverse beliefs, diverse philosophy, theories, and ideologies paths and practices.
People misinterpret and falsify as they want to suit their tastes. Advaita is not a theory but the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. People do not want to inquire into the truth and have no time to investigate, they imagine Advaita in their own way.
So even in the ancient days, people did not care for Advaita; they wanted religion; hence Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana got lost. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana is kept as “the supreme secret by the Sages of truth.
deeper self-search produces the realization of the universal truth. The seeker who achieves perfection in Soulcentric reasoning realizes the truth in time.
The Soul is the Self. Do not search for truth in religion, religious books. Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is everywhere and in everything. Consciousness alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.
Those who know the world in which they exist in truth will realize the world in which they exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Consciousness is the cause of the world and it itself is uncaused. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and all religious identity and lives like a commoner.+

A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and all religious identity and lives like a commoner. He never identifies himself as Gnani nor does he identify himself as superior to others. He only shares his knowledge with his fellow seekers.

A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple.  The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.

Katha Upanishads: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (II -23-P-20)
All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality.  You are the chosen one.

Millions are searching for truth, but one in million will realize it.  If you are the truth seeker then you are one from that million.

All accumulated knowledge is mental Garbage is no use in the quest for truth. The seeker has to discard all the accumulated knowledge and start afresh.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ through deeper thinking and reasoning helps to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ‘I AM’ represents ignorance.+

I AM is not the reality. Whenever the ‘I Am is there the dualistic illusion is present. Whenever dualistic illusion is present the world in which you exist is present.  The world in which you exist appears and disappears.  Thus, The ‘I AM’ appears and disappears.

The ‘I AM’ is not permanent. The Soul, the innermost Self is the witness of the coming and going, of the ‘I AM.

It is erroneous to identify the Soul, the  Self as the  ‘I AM'. The ‘I AM’ represents ignorance. How can you watch the ‘I AM’  the truth which is hidden by the ‘I AM.   by you keeping quiet and keeping silent the truth will not emerge.
The ‘I’ hides the Soul. Therefore, the seeker has to realize ‘what is this ‘I’ suppose to in actuality.

If the Self is not ‘I’ but the Self is the Soul then from  the standpoint of the Soul, the   Self:~

Where is the ‘I’?

Where is the ego?

Where is the body?

Where is the mind?

Where is the world in which you exist?

Where are the form, time, and space?

Where is the waking experience?

Where is the duality?

Where is void?

They are or have become one with the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

The ‘I’ is present only when the mind is present. The mind is present only when the world is present. The world is present only when there is a waking experience.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the waking experience is not considered different from the world. The world is not considered different from the mind. The mind is not considered different from the’ I’. This truth has to be assimilated.

The ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. ‘I’ is not the subject. The ‘I’ is an object to the Soul, which is the formless, timeless, and spaceless subject.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the world in which you exist is bound to be an illusion.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then three states, are bound to be an illusion.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the form, time, and space are bound to be an illusion.

If the I’ is an illusion then the individual experience of birth, life, death is bound to be an illusion.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the words and thoughts are bound to be an illusion.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the duality is bound to be an illusion.

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.

Remember:~

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such mindsets. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

That is why Sage Sankara says:~ VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

People refuse to accept anything other than their Gurus words. For them, their Gurus words are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.

Such mindsets are not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Mystic says:~ I am God, I am Brahman. But when Brahman is, how can "I" remain?+

Religionists who are anxious for a mystic or occult experience often get it. However, it is only a mental construction of their own, suggested originally from outside. Suggestions may come to one from a book or person some years read or seen, and thinking of them a number of times; then when one meets and sits before a Yogic Guru for the  first time, the suggestion comes up from the past or subconscious and gives one vision or mystic experience.
The whole thing is a super-imposition. Therefore, the subconscious mind is led by constant dwelling on a thought, to the manufacture of it as a projected experience. Similarly, with worshippers in the churches and temples who fall into tears. The complex overcomes them.
Mystics may say that the spirit is the source of all good, but the question of questions is how does one know the Spirit is the source of all good, and then question arises where is the source of all adversity. That is mere scholastic dogma until an attempt to show, to analyse and prove that it is the source. There cannot be the different source for the different experience. Merely believing accepting mystics' word is not accepted in the pursuit of truth.
Mystic say I am God but How is he to know that He is God? His mere statement is not enough. He must have proof; he must show that He is God. His God is a reality even in the  experience of duality.
Mystic says:~ I am God, I am Brahman. But when Brahman is, how can "I" remain? Only Brahman remains, not the ‘I’.
The God cannot exist without the experience duality. When duality is mere illusion, how anything seen, known, believed and experienced within the duality can be real.
When mystic path followers may see all kinds of visions when they sits before the Yogic or a Guru, he ; it is because he expects certain experiences and gets them, or else the others followers suggest them; the mind of the disciple manufactures the entire experience. It is precisely the same as experiences of a hypnotic subject, which are the consequences of a stronger mind working on a weaker one. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

First realize 'Self' is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present I the form of the consciousness.+

Even though the Self is something other than this waking entity (ego), the majority of people still identify themselves with ego.

The main reason people identify their-Self with the waking entity (ego) is their ignorance of the Real Self.
Whosoever identifies his- Self with this bundle of bones and flesh are caught up in the grip of dualistic Illusion. Now the question arises:

If the Self is not this waking entity, then what is that Self? The real Self is not the waking entity but the formless Soul, which witnesses the waking entity and waking world together.

The scriptures declare that Self is the Soul the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness or Spirit ~the three states are mere an illusion created out of the consciousness. That's all.

The three states are is temporary, while the Soul the innermost Self is immortal, Therefore, this waking entity and waking experience are the false (impermanent), and the Soul, the innermost Self is True (permanent).
Why you are struggling to realize the truth. First, realize 'Self' is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present I the form of the consciousness. Without realizing the fact that the ‘Self is not you but the Soul you will never be able to cross the domain of the dualistic illusion.

The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the ‘I’-awareness. The ‘I’ –awareness is present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as the waking or dreams (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality).
The real Moksha or freedom is to realize the fact that the ‘I’-awareness is a mere physical awareness. Physical awareness is not Self-awareness.

Self–awareness is when the formless Soul or the consciousness remains aware of its own nondual true nature.
The real Moksha is freedom from experiencing the duality as reality by realizing the fact that, the ‘I’ awareness, which is present in the form of the universe (Mind) is merely physical awareness.

From Nondualistic perspective the physical awareness is mere an illusion. Ignorance is the cause of the physical-awareness.

When ignorance vanishes through wisdom, then the unreal nature of the physical awareness is exposed then there is freedom (Moksha) from experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The Gurus who declare “I am God or “I am Brahman" is merely repeating like a parrot words which they have read in the scriptures or heard.+*****

Some Gurus and Self-declared Godmen say:  "I am God." This presupposes that they have the same miraculous and creative powers of God. They do not, however, display possession of such power. Such is the fallacy of their logic.

The Gurus who declare “I am God or “I am Brahman" is merely repeating like parrot words which they have read in the scriptures or heard. It does not prove that they have realized the ultimate truth or God or Brahman. With bookish or hearsay knowledge it is unable to prove that everything is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. One has to do lots of homework to realize the Soul, the innermost Self.

A Guru who speaks of knowing Brahman within the body is thinking only of his head or heart, i.e. of his body. He is hallucinating.

Some religious Gurus give medicinal herbs and cured people, the latter then fall into the fallacy of attributing their cure to the Swami's spiritual power, status or greatness. Those Gurus may have expert knowledge of herbs but that does not prove they are Gnanis.

The stories of nonbeliever coming to a Guru denouncing him as a deceiver, and then suddenly being converted to faith in him are easily explicable. Both attitudes are merely emotional. One emotion succeeded another; it is in the nature of emotion to change. People are emotionally carried off their feet when they first visit a famous Guru.

Gurus who propagate Samadhi through sexual intercourse are not Gnanis. Sexual intercourse is nothing to do with the Soul, which is ever formless, timeless and spaceless existence.   Those who indulge in sexual activities in order get enlightenment will permanently remain in the prison of the dualistic illusion.  They are unfit to acquire Self-knowledge.

Those Gurus who glorify themselves as God and collect money by promising people instant realization are frauds. Whoever speaks of knowing Brahman within us is thinking only of his body. He is hallucinating about getting instant realization because he is an intellectual. He thinks he has read and understood everything.   The Gurudom is nothing to do with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Religious Gurus are concerned with the welfare of humanity to propagate love, peace, harmony and compassion to the populace.  Humanity belongs to the dualistic illusion.  Spirituality is beyond the dualistic illusion. Mixing religion and spirituality is like mixing oil and water. Religion is nothing to do with spirituality.   Religion is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman.    : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gina or Atma Gnana.***

A well-directed Self-search search will lead one to find his nondual destination. Trying to discover the truth on the false Self (ego) is going round and round not reaching anywhere.

One is ignorant and he asserts the awareness, ever-existent consciousness, which exits in all the three states as its formless substance and witness.   And it is also apart from the three states.  The witness is formless and it is not an entity and identity within the waking or dream.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the destroyer of ignorance.  The Soul or consciousness is the innermost Self is the Guru and the God, the all-pervading principle and the cause of all three states and it itSelf is uncaused.

The ‘Self is not you. The ‘Self’ is not the world, in which you exist. The ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

The ‘Self’ is the cause if the world in which you exist and it itself is uncaused.  The ‘Self ‘is nothing to with the world in which you exist because the ‘Self’ is the ever formless, timeless and spaceless existence.  The ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.  Thus the world in which you exist is mere an illusion created out of the consciousness.

The ego, thoughts the world in which we exist is created out of single stuff.  That single stuff is the consciousness.   Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gina or Atma Gnana.

The world in which we exist is the product of ignorance. When ignorance vanishes then the unreal nature of the world in which we exist is exposed.

When the unreal nature of the world in which we exist is exposed then the ego, thoughts, whatever seen, known, believed and experienced within th
e unreal world is bound to be an illusion.

Thus, it is necessary to realize the one which is born, lives and dies is not the ‘Self’ because the ‘Self is the birthless and deathless. The ‘Self’ is birthless and deathless because it is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

Only when you realize the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is mere an illusion is created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.  Thus everything is consciousness, which is real and eternal.  Thus, the consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.  The world in which you exist is nothing to do with the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’  because the world in which you exist is mere an illusion.

Self- realization is the essence of human existence.***

The eternal truth is hidden  within the universe (mind) and it is without the universe (mind). Direct knowledge of Self can be acquired by one through the Self while realizing the Self. Self- realization is the essence of human existence. Where there is unity, one without a second; there is world of nondual reality. The nondual truth is ultimate truth. And ultimate truth itself is God.

Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that, the consciousness alone exists, and the rest is all superimposition on the consciousness. Superimposition is mere illusion. The illusion is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as the waking experience.  Due to ignorance the illusion is experienced as a reality.

Through deeper Self-search one becomes aware of the fact that, the ‘Self’ is neither the waking entity nor the ‘Self’ is the dream entity b
ut the ‘Self’ is the formless Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states. The Soul is present in the form of the consciousness. The three states and the formless witness of the three states are one, in essence. That essence is the consciousness.

The consciousness is constant and therefore real, while the phenomena constituting of the universe is constantly changing and therefore, it is unreal.  The nature of the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ is the awareness.

The seeker has to take all the three states of existences into account, — the waking, dream, and deep sleep, since one has experiences during all three states in order to obtain a complete picture of his existential reality, he need to include evidence from all three states. This is the phenomenology of the consciousness.

The ego, thoughts the world in which we exist is created out of single stuff.  That single stuff is the consciousness.   Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gina or Atma Gnana.

The world in which we exist is product of ignorance. When ignorance vanishes then the unreal nature of the world in which we exist is exposed.

When the unreal nature of the world in which we exist is exposed then the ego, thoughts, whatever seen, known, believed and experienced within the unreal world is bound to be an illusion.
