All the ‘I-centric'' Gurus and their teaching will block your realization of the ‘Self’ hidden by the ‘I’.+

When ‘I’ itself is an illusion what is the use of saying ‘I AM THAT’ without knowing what is real in actuality.

All the ‘I-centric Gurus and their teaching will block your realization of the ‘Self’ hidden by the ‘I’.

If you are serious in your quest for truth you have to discard all the ‘I-centric’ Gurus and their teaching.

By emotionally getting involved with the ‘I-centric’ Gurus and their teaching you are blocking your realization of the ‘Self’ hidden by the ‘I’.

Remember ‘I’ is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

That is why the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ ‘The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

First, you must make sure the ‘I’ itself is illusory because the ‘I’ is not permanent.

Sage  Sankara says ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding on to theories one remains in the realm of duality.

You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search.

Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of dualistic illusion.

Remember:~

Without knowing what the ‘Self’ is in actuality what is the use of saying ‘I am that. It is impossible to be the ‘Self’ without realizing the ‘Self’ is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

You and the world in which you exist belong to the dualistic illusion. The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self.

You are born, live, and die within the illusory world. You are the birth entity. You are born, live die in this world. You are not the ‘Self’ because the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is birthless and deathless.

The Self is not an individual but the Self is the Soul, therefore, the individual experience of birth, life, and death, and the world has nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, which is birthless deathless because it is ever formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

From a dualistic perspective, the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is reality whereas, from a nondualistic perspective, the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion.

When the world in which you exist is created out of the ‘Self’ which is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness then whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is bound to be consciousness.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is a permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
